While looking at potential dates to reschedule the event, it has become clear that distancing guidelines to other previously scheduled events will make it virtually impossible for us to host this event this year. That being said, we regret to inform that this A-Tier will not be rescheduled for 2020.
We have already started the process of issuing refunds for those individuals who were registered.

With the recent news of the PDGA extending their suspension of event sanctioning, we wanted to let you know that we are making an effort to explore rescheduling the event for a future date. We understand that all of you would like to get back on the course in a competitive manner and we would love to be a part of that. We also understand that there will likely be a number of changes going forward with regards to safety procedures and guidelines.
If it becomes clear that we are not going to be ...

Hey Scott. Appreciate all the work. Frustrating not to be able to get out and do what we love. I would still like to get my player pack and request a refund for any left over. Is this going to be offered as an option.

Many players have asked about the status of this event in regards to the outbreak of COVID-19. As of now, the event will run according to plan.
As information, updates, and restrictions to group activities in the state of Michigan continue to change over the next several weeks, as well as possible changes in PDGA guidance, we will keep all players updated on the status of The LPO through this message board.
Thank you all for your understanding and patience.

Is this still on as of right now? Just seen on UDisc that the baskets have been pulled from the courses
Right now we plan to host the event. There are of course a few things that will impact our ability to do that. Namely what the PDGA does going forward (my understanding is that there is an additional announcement expected by the end of the week) and what limits there are in place from our governor a ... more

For the open division on the monster course, is it just long tees to regular baskets or long tees to champ baskets?

That is a bummer Scott
Agreed. We were hoping that everything would work out. However, we also understand that the safety and well-being of everyone involved in more important. Hopefully we will have the same opportunity next year and will be able to make it a great experience for the players.
Make it unsanctioned? Lower the player cap? Rather than cancelling events that people would definitely play maybe just tweak a few of the usual logistics to fit the guidelines AND keep the anxious tourny-goers satisfied? ;)
Atleast for 2020
Thank you so much for attempting to run a pro A tier for us Scott!!!! All of us very much appreciate it!!!
You are very welcome. I had a great time working with Doug McIntosh and Sean Morgan in the planning of the event. They are wonderful and have lots of great ideas. They really were the driving force in this. I will be glad to partner with them on future events
