As many of you may have noted, the PDGA awarded only 20 points per team beaten/tied for this event. I notified the PDGA Tour Manager and they agreed that they had miscommunicated the points formula. As such, they will be awarding the promised 30 points per team for THIS event only. All future sanctioned triples events will be 20/team. Thanks again to everyone who played and everyone who helped make it run so smoothly.

What if you’re playing with pros but you’re technically am? Can you take points and they cash?

Shawn Conroy   December 4, 2018 at 9:19pm

All team members must play in the division of the highest rated player, but pros who are rated under 970 may play amateur for this event.

Sorry, keep hitting the wrong button! Anyone looking for a team to play on? My husband and I are new to PA and would like to play. Our cat isn't very good!

I contacted the PDGA before posting the event just to be sure. They gave me the formula the system would use. It works out to 30 points per team that you beat or tie including your own team. Someone else also contacted them just to verify.

IF I sign a team up and one of the players cannot make the event can I swap out a player? Of course this would happen well in advance of the event.

Limit to 45 teams? Just wondering based on 9 hole course.

Shawn Conroy   November 8, 2018 at 9:25pm

Limited to 36 teams of 3. It is an 18 hole course. It was recently expanded so the online pics are not quite up to date. The local club has been doing great work there this year. New tee signs are going up this week.

John Birkrem   November 9, 2018 at 12:09am
