I wanted to send an update and player info email out to you all since Saturday is just a few days away!
IF YOU PLAY IN THIS EVENT AND THE THIRD SPACE FLEX START YOU WILL BE ENTERED INTO A DRAWING FOR A FREE CARDINAL DISC GOLF JERSEY!
SCHEDULE: All Times are approximate. For the past 3 years we have been about spot on with this time frame though!

PLAYER'S MEETING IS MANDATORY! PLEASE BE THERE!
PRACTICE: If you want to practice before Saturday, you can use UDisc, which is the best way to practice/know where you are going. You want to choose the right layout for your division. We have all layouts available on UDisc. Do not throw from any red tee pads. As for the TEMP holes, you may or may not be able to play them depending on when events are going on at the diamonds and when baskets are put out there.
Another way to figure the course out is to look at this caddy book.
Course will be closed from 2:00-5:15 PM Friday for the C-Tier FLEX START!

SCORING: We will use UDISC Live for this event. I am slowly getting everyone entered into the event on UDisc. Please plan on keeping score through UDisc for the event. Paper scores will be available, but at least one person on every card needs to keep the Udisc score for everyone on the card. You should receive an email saying you were added. If you do not have a Udisc account, you won't have access to the event. All you need is the free account. If you end up creating one, let me know, and I will make sure to add your email to your registration.
CHECK-IN/RESTROOM: We plan to have check-in closer to the concessions this year between the Temp holes. Bathrooms will be available right there as well. This will be the only bathroom on the course.
PLAYER PACK: All participants will receive a pack of snack sticks thanks to VANDER FARMERS. These are delicious! Enjoy!
LUNCH/FOOD: Lunch is always 1 hour from the last card to finish. The Sports Complex will have concessions open for lunchtime and is right there on site at tournament central. They will offer hot dogs, pork burgers, walking tacos, nachos, drinks, etc. It will be basic concession food, and they take cash or card.
There will be a few coolers out on the course with Gatorade, water, and bags of chips. Help yourself, but remember to save some for others!
AWARDS: Austin Kraner with DualForm Design did an amazing job on these trophies! Thank you to Crystal Cobb, Cardinal Disc Golf, and Wild Side Discs for being trophy sponsors! 1st, 2nd, and 3rd will get trophies in each division. See attached photo for what they look like!
As always, there will be ACE CARDS. If you hit an ace, please come find me and you will receive a metal ace card/bottle opener! See photo attached for what they look like.
CTP'S/ACES: I have worked hard at collecting discs throughout the year for Closest To Pin (CTP) prizes. Everyone who plays will have a chance to win, BUT only those who pay into the 50/50 fund have a chance at winning the cash at hole Temp 1. 50 % of it goes to the person thats closest and the other 50% is donated back to the parks for their disc golf fund. Please keep an eye on which CTP is yours. It will be marked. Don't pick up before confirming.
At the end of your round, please return the CTP flag that is on the last hole you play. Please do this for both rounds. We have a total of 34 CTP prizes/holes. 17 each round. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you help and do your part in getting these back after each round.
CTP FUND IS AT $100 as of right now. So it would be split in half from there.
ACE FUND IS AT $110 as of right now.
CARDS/STARTING HOLE: Cards will be posted the morning of the tournament. If I get ahead of schedule, I may post them the evening before. You cannot choose your card. There are a couple of cards that I may need to move around a bit, depending on if people show up or not, so if I do post them early, confirm it in the morning.
LAYOUT:
Round 1- 20 holes. 18 regular OG holes plus the two temp holes.
Round 2- 20 holes. 18 temp baskets plus the two temp holes.
Hole 8, Temp 1 and Temp 2 are the only holes we will play both rounds
ENTRY FEE BREAKDOWN:
$5/player will go towards course improvements & Tournament Expenses
$40/player will go towards payouts
PAYOUTS WILL GO TO THE TOP 40% OF THE FIELD IN EACH DIVISION. I plan to pay out in cash. If there are ties, you will have to decide with the other people you are tied with on how you want to go about the $$. You can choose to split it evenly, or throw off for a CTP.
$250 added cash will be split out in the TOP division accordingly.
VENDING:
Scott Blackburn with Wild Side Discs will be there all day to sell discs! Please consider supporting him and his business! I am excited to have him there with us! Bring some $$ and spend some $$ on plastic!
RULES: I will be sticking with PDGA rules for the most part. If you have something that is very questionable, take a video or photo of it and we will review it after the round. I am not worried about glow tape on a disc or small things like that. Things that truly affect scores, I am worried about though. Foot faults, finishing out the hole until you putt and make it, and using pdga legal discs are definitely things we will abide by.
