Happy 4th of July. Hope you all have fun plans and are safe today.

I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has signed up so far. We are looking forward to seeing you on Saturday at Independence Lake for the Kellie Jo Memorial. We have plenty of space so if you have friends that may consider playing, please encopurage them to take a look at the event details. We also have a number of great raffle items for you to consider, so please plan bring some extra cash (although PayPal and Venmo are options as well). I will be adding photos of those items at some time today on the pictures tabe above, a few have already be posted to our Washtenaw County Glow FB page.

IMPORTANT:
Considering it is a Holiday weekend, the park is expecting A LOT of people at the Splash Park and at the beach. Since they are expecting high numbers, I would like to encourage you to stay at the park during the lunch break. I have been told that if you leave and there is a line to re-enter, you will need to wait. This potentially could lead to you missing the start of round 2 and no one wants that.

You are welcome to bring your lunch with you, and the Splash Park across the parking lot has a number of good items on their menu, as the does the beach center at the back of the park. I have included photos of their menus on the pictures tab above.

Thank you for signing up to play in The Kellie Jo Memorial. Please check in between 8:00 and 9:15 at the pavilion next to the disc golf courses. As a reminder, ALL players are responsible for scoring in 2024. You will be provided with access code for live scoring at check-in. I intend to have a VERY quick (like 5 min at most) player meeting to pass along just a few quick notes about the courses and a few hole reminders.

All course OBs will be listed in live scoring. I also plan to have a hard copy of OBs for you in the morning at check-in as well.

Please keep in mind that we have a number of raffle items (discs, bags, a basket, course accessories, etc. Cash PayPal, and Venmo are all accepted as forms of payment.

Reminder: They expect heavy traffic and park use at the Splash Park and Beach. It is recommended that you do not leave the park for lunch to avoid getting stuck in line to re-enter and potentially have issues with making it back in time for round 2. Bring a lunch, or visit the concession stand at the Splash Park or snack bar at the beach. Menus are listed above in the pictures tab.
