What a great day. I want to thank every single one of you who came out to play and support the event and help raise money for Huntington's Disease Society of America (HDSA). Thank you to EVERYONE who donated items and helped out with the raffle. And of course, congratulations to all of our division winners.

Thank you to members of Team WC Glow who stepped up BIG yesterday with various tasks and efforts....from set up, registration, selling tickets, helping with scoring/payouts, running the ace pool throw off, and of course packing up. You all rock!

Working on getting scores finalized/posted and getting a final tally on what was raised for HDSA. May take a few days as I am also in the middle of several "adult responsibilities" and family issues that need attention. The scores will be completed and submitted in order to be included in the next PDGA Ratings update (Aug 8).

Also working on getting the 50-50 money returned to everyone who bought in. Such a crazy day my apologies for not doubling checking to make sure those got out onto the course for you.

As always, send me s message if you have questions or comments. We appreciate hearing ways we might be able to improve the event experience for folks.

A LOT of great items available tomorrow in our Raffle that supports the Huntington's Disease Society of America (HDSA).

Event announcement:

I will work on getting the player meeting video posted late tonight but want to get this important bit of information out there.

Regarding lunch, the park will have their snack bar (and possibly the concession stand across the parking lot at Blue Heron Bay) open for you this weekend. Since the park can get very busy, I recommend that you either bring your lunch or plan on picking something up at the park. If you leave the park and there is a line when you return, YOU WI ... more

Since the park can get very busy, I recommend that you either bring your lunch or plan on picking something up at the park. If you leave the park and there is a line when you return, YOU WILL NEED TO WAIT to get back in.

Since we do not want you to miss your 2nd round tee time, I recommend that you DO NOT leave the park and either bring your lunch or purchase it from the snack bar or concession stand inside the park.

Reminder:
Please make sure that you take care of payments for items related to the event. You should be able to click on your name, and choose edit which then takes you to your profile for the event. Make sure that you have everything you intend to pay into taken care of there.

Anyone who is still marked as cashless pre-reg on Sunday afternoon will be moved to waitlist and open spots created. At that point, it is first come first served regarding entry to event.

Update:
Field expanded to 144 players. Pools have been established to accommodate up to 72 players on each course at Independence Lake.

Divisions that make up each pool are subject to change.
