I wanted to give you all a STANDING OVATION for coming out to support our event. Your support through attendance, donation of items for raffle packages, purchase of raffle tickets, and participation in the basket toss was truly outstanding.

I just double checked the totals for the amount raised to be donated to HD research.......that amount has me in tears: $1,176.

THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. That amount FAR EXCEEDED what I was hoping to accomplish with this event. I will be VERY HAPPY to report this to Deb Boyd, HDSA Regional Development Director here in Michigan.

Scores are posted here as well as on PDGA site.....Please let me know if anything looks off by Friday as I will be working on submitting my TD Report to the PDGA.

Will make another post regarding the amount of money raised when I get home from work today as I would like to double check the rough number we had calculated already.

Beautiful Day for Disc Golf.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for coming out and supporting not only the club, but also our effort to support Huntington's disease research. I appreciate the support in your attendance, buying raffle tickets for the 5 packages we had set out, as well as buying into the basket toss. I will post on here the amount we will be donating once I get through all the numbers.

Thanks Scott and all the team of volunteers that helped out. Dub-C rocks!! I love that the funds went to a good cause as well.

Daren Winters   April 23, 2017 at 9:16pm

The layout was fun and challenging. The x holes were a great addition to a course that already tops most. You guys put on a good, smooth running tournament and better yet, it was for a good cause. Any idea when we should expect to see scores posted up on here and/or the pdga site. Thanks Scott

Scott Sprow   April 23, 2017 at 9:38pm

Working on getting scores entered here after a busy few days.... hoping to have them up tomorrow afternoon at the latest.

Douglas McIntosh    April 27, 2017 at 8:55am

Hey Scott, my second round i shot a 55, not a 61, I thin you may have switched the scores with the other guy on my card,

Will dig the cards out when I get home today....Have one other card to look at as well.

Scott Sprow   April 28, 2017 at 10:14am

Got your score corrected....My apologies Doug. Should be right on DGS and the PDGA site as well.

Douglas McIntosh   April 28, 2017 at 3:24pm

Thanks Scott, great event, great cause,

Daren Winters    April 25, 2017 at 5:21pm

Hey Scott, just noticed that my recorded score for the second round is incorrect. I shot a 50 not a 52. You have it correct on the pdga site. Thanks

Usually it's cash or PayPal and cause the pre reg time is up its most likely only cash

Scott Sprow   April 22, 2017 at 7:35am

Cash or paypal

James Cherry   April 22, 2017 at 7:40am

Ok. Ty for quick response.

Scott Sprow    April 22, 2017 at 1:01am

With the recent rain, there is a decent amount of water out on the course. It might not be a bad idea to consider bringing additional shoes and a pair of socks as well.....We were out at the course tonight and discussed areas of concern. There are 2 holes that are not being played since there is a safety/play concern there: X12 (which is mainly under water) and X5 which is a safety concern being in such close proximity to X6 teepad.

2 additional holes will be used and in place in the morning ... more

Fair warning that with the rain we received in the last day or so, the park and course will be wet. There is standing water in spots....we will identify areas that are considered OB and provide a sheet for your card that indicates what is casual and what is OB. Not ideal for sure, but we can not control the weather.

Thank you all for signing up....reminder that we will have a Basket toss for a new basket (MVP Black Hole Pro) and several raffle packages (lots of goodies in these).

All money ... more

Ditto!

Scott Sprow    April 20, 2017 at 8:54pm

Have some photos of new X10 and X11 holes we will be playing....will try to get them uploaded soon. They are longer, and have markings in the grass at 300 and 200 feet from basket to give you an idea how far you are from the pin.

Also, with all the rain today, there is a good chance that we may need to modify a hole or two on the X hole side (especially X12, which looked to be under water when I stopped in this afternoon). Will let you know what will be done once we come up with a plan...look ... more

Thank you....we are looking at the course today to determine what else needs to be addressed. Thank you for the heads up.

Cullen Pasquesi-Hill   April 21, 2017 at 8:23pm

Lots of standing water on the course today, some of which should probably be marked OB because there is nowhere to take casual relief. The only hole that seemed unplayable was x12 though. The short pad on hole 3 was partially submerged but that looked like it might clear up by tomorrow.

Scott Sprow   April 21, 2017 at 8:48pm

A good amount of water for sure.....spent a decent amount of time out there tonight...looked at all the holes that had water and will address at player meeting in morning......

Sean McCoy    April 20, 2017 at 1:05pm

Please reg Sean McCoy am2 79833. Also Scott a couple questions, are the new pad placements for x10&x11 marked currently? Are we going to have spotters for holes 5/6? And any other par 4s? Like...x7 or 5 from black? Fingers crossed for good weather!!

Wow. You guys are awesome. Thanks for the quick replies and great prep work for the event. En route to try out these "new" par 4's before the rain. See ya Saturday

Scott Sprow   April 20, 2017 at 10:52am

Thanks for the confirmation on the pins and tee areas Josh....happy to know that things are in place already....big thanks to everyone who has helped make these changes...I also agree on hole 13, its a tough shot, but tough to say it is a Par 4 at only 300ft.

Scott White   April 20, 2017 at 11:24am

thumps up to the park, Josh and Scott for being on the ball. Stoked for this weekend.. Hoping for a solid mid-table performance in my division.
