Oh man! I'm really sorry to hear that. I have your players pack, and I'll be in Huntington this week if you want me to meet you somewhere!

Bill Rawlinson   March 6, 2021 at 11:53pm

Bill Rawlinson   March 6, 2021 at 11:54pm

If you want you can reach me via email [email redacted] I can make myself pretty available.

Ryan Shumate    March 5, 2021 at 2:01am

Practice rounds will be available tomorrow from whenever the frost clears to 6:30, last card will go out at 6:00 to give us time to clean up. I'll update everyone when the course is available, aiming for around 11:30. It's $5 per person per round cash only, and if you could please shoot me a message either here or on facebook to give me a time that you'll be here that way I can meet you! Thanks everyone!

TOURNAMENT UPDATE:
I'm very excited to announce that we have a full field as of this morning! When we started setting the Joust up I said I'd be happy with 30 players, much less 72. It looks like we're gonna have a cold but dry Saturday.

I know quite a few people are interested in the practice rounds, so I have to make this announcement now before everyone makes too many plans:

As of just a little while ago, we are only going to be able to do the practice rounds Friday fro ... more

For vegetarian players, is the course situated close enough to food options so that we can leave and come back during lunch break?

Ryan Shumate   March 2, 2021 at 11:50pm

I think there are some options within 10-15 minutes!

Great. Thanks!

Any updates on cart usage?

Ryan Shumate   February 28, 2021 at 1:25am

Hey Matthew! Unfortunately we aren't going to be able to use them. The course goes through the woods quite a bit and the golf course doesn't have cart paths on every hole. Also, we're pretty much full on registration at this point and don't have nearly enough carts for everyone. Sorry for the inconvenience. Hope to see you there!

Any idea what the pars and distances will be for the shorter tees?

Ryan Shumate   February 16, 2021 at 11:22pm

Hi Adam! Par will be 62, and the total distance will be 5605'. I haven't had time to make a card with the individual hole lengths, but if you have UDisc you can go to the course search and type in "Historic Black Knight Temp" to see the maps!

TOURNAMENT UPDATE: We are under 3 weeks away from the event, and I'm excited to finally announce the contents of our players packs!
Along with an event shirt, towel, and some other goodies, everyone who signs up by MONDAY, FEBRUARY 22ND will get a blue Prodigy BP4 backpack! This lightweight disc golf backpack has enough space to carry around 18-20 discs, and is made of a durable material which is water, tear, and scratch resistant.
As mentioned above, anyone who wants a bag will have to ... more

Hello everyone! Just wanted to provide a quick but important update. We will now have three divisions at the event (Advanced, Recreational, Ladies). Ladies and Recreational will play shorter tees for both rounds. We just want to make sure that no one is discouraged by the course. I will be messaging all of those signed up at this point to update their divisions.

Will round ball golf carts be available to use? You could charge a fee to help the fund raiser.

Hi Matthew! It will likely depend on how many we have register. If there aren't as many playing, it would be possible. The course doesn't have enough carts for a full field unfortunately. I'll check in with the course once I have an idea of how many are going to play and let you know!
