The Ho-Ho-Hole In One Classic
About this tournament
The Ho-Ho-Hole In One Classic is a modified Ace Race style event happening in Thunder Bay Ontario Canada at Birch Point DGC. This is a non-sanctioned event that does not require a PDGA membership or have additional fees for non-members
Players will have two rounds of 18+ ace runs with the second round's tee placements getting even closer for maximum ace run potential! The hole distances for round one will range from 120 to 160 ft and round two as noted will shorten up to 90-120 ft. With only one throw per person per hole, the time to play two rounds requires very little commitment, especially on Birch Point's condensed winter layout.
Players will not be limited to any one disc but instead have access to their entire bag. We also add a second attempt for all players on holes 1 and 18. To score, players either need to hole-out in one shot or make contact with any part of the basket. The most aces wins the event with metal hits being used as a tie-break.
There will be prizes for 1,2,3 most aces and another for most metal hits as well as several great random draw prizes. $20 to enter with all proceeds going right back into Sub-Zero Saturdays.
Hot chocolate, coffee and donuts will be available.
