Buzzzzz
Not the disc, but mosquitos! These guys are out in force with all of this moisture and standing water in areas like Hole 18. Lather up with your favorite deet free (or deet-full if you’re hardcore) repellant, bring extra, and cover up if needed.

Saturday Night Live
Disc Golf’s newest friend the American Legion in down town Flagstaff is hosting us for a Saturday after party. Best prices on beer I’ve seen in downtown Flagstaff and a special menu just for us. Cards and Scoring
I’ll have your hole assignments tomorrow, had a few last minute additions….We will be using Udisc once again this year. Make sure to check in to the event “Birdogie Disc Golf Events - The Highlander Classic” . If you don’t have Udisc, you’re card will designate one Udisc score keeper and one paper card score keeper, and that score keeper can start a card with you on it. But get Udisc.

On the topic of Mandos and OBs, for this tournament you’ll still be alternating all of your shots. That means if you throw OB, your partner is cleaning up your mess. We’ll have quite a few new players, let’s keep it easy. Remember, Mandos and OBs do not apply to the Juniors Division.

Bigger, badder, faster, stronger, more mandos , more OBs, more gooder, more cream filling! Wait.. right, disc golf. Lots to take in, but you'll really want to read to the end.

Event Details + Registration
Alright we're getting close to filling up. Event dates are August 19 & 20 and both rounds are at Fort Tuthill. If you know someone on the fence, push 'em over! And if you know any Juniors or Women just starting disc golf, tell 'em it's free! Send them my way and I'll take care of the rest.

Got a recipe that can't be beat? Bring it, we want to try it! There might be prizes involved too.

Ok, so I went a bit big on the player's pack this year. Like full-color Dyemax discs, custom DiscDry towels, and a solar charging powerbank for your bag type big. And don't forget, our putting contest will be dripping.
