Is there any chance for some waitlist players to be added to the lineup tomorrow?

Anthony Hawley   November 28, 2020 at 3:01am

Sorry, Zack! Unfortunately, we didn't have enough drops for you to make it in off the waitlist.

Zack Garza   November 28, 2020 at 3:12am

I’m already signed up in the advanced division. I was hoping my friends who signed up and are on the waiting list would still have a chance to play. I take it nobody else dropped out?

Anthony Hawley   November 28, 2020 at 4:46am

Oh, sorry.. That is correct. There won't be anyone else promoted from the waitlist at this point.

For anyone that isn't willing to brave camping this time of year, and is looking for a place to stay - here is a link that Snohomish County Sports Commission has put together for us that includes a few hotels that have discounted rates for participants! https://snohomish.sendsites.net/L/F/2020-Gravy-Gobble/P/AnthonyHawleyG576

Hello everyone! I just ended up inheriting a 2020 gravy gobble disc… I assume it was part of a players pack…? Maybe just a commemorative disc for that tourney…? I can see that it’s an Innova, but no other indication on what it is or flight numbers or anything…

Any ideas…?

Pretty sure that was a Thunderbird... 9 speed overstable driver

Matt Bogusz    November 28, 2020 at 11:41pm

Anyone know when wewill see tomorrow s t times?

Eric Sandbo    November 27, 2020 at 7:45am

Looking forward to being on the first card of the day. That means no backups, which would have hurt my back. I had even worried that I wouldn't be able to finish the course. 7:45 suits me just fine. Thanks.

Heck yes. I hope we get that time both days. I've got knees to match your back so we might call this the Hobble Gobble

Scott VanAelst    November 17, 2020 at 8:01pm

When it says that participants will be scheduled for one round each day “Via Tee Times”, does this mean that there will not be a “shotgun start” with assigned starting holes?

Anthony Hawley   November 18, 2020 at 9:18pm

That is correct. Every player will start at hole 1 on whichever course they are playing.

Albert Gordon    November 15, 2020 at 10:28pm

Hey is it cancelled due to the governors new order? Thanks

Anthony Hawley   November 16, 2020 at 4:01am

Hey Albert, I will be sending out an email to everyone in the next day or two regarding this. In short, we are still planning on having the event but will be implementing a few changes to keep everyone as safe as possible.

Pierce Parnell    November 15, 2020 at 4:39pm

Can I pay the 20 day of?

Looking to register for my first tournament and see is says “waitlist” does this mean it’s fully booked for these categories? Also will any categories have short tees?

Anthony Hawley   November 12, 2020 at 7:34am

Hey Kevin! Waitlist just means that you would have to wait for people that are already registered to drop in order for you to get into the event. There won’t be any short tees, but MA3 and MA4 will both be playing what is considered the “beginner” course both rounds.

Ted Tracy    November 4, 2020 at 12:04am

I e-mailed Kayak Point the other day and was informed that they will NOT be open on Thanksgiving. I was hoping to get a practice round in at least that morning since I am from out of town and haven't played the course yet.

Is there a reason there are no mp50 spots?

Anthony Hawley   November 2, 2020 at 10:31pm

After over a month of registration being open, there was no sign ups for that division so those spots were added to other divisions. If there is enough interest to fill a card, I would be happy to open up more spots.

Mark Kilmer   November 4, 2020 at 12:56am

Cool thank you

Lindsay Dykes    November 1, 2020 at 7:29pm

Hello! Wondering if there will be camping on site? Thanks!

Anthony Hawley   November 2, 2020 at 5:15am

Unfortunately there won’t be any camping on site. Kayak Point County Park has a campground about 5 minutes away that has available though. Snohomish County Sports Commission is also working on securing some discounted hotels right now and I will post the details once they finalize them!

Narayan Pallipamu   November 3, 2020 at 5:52pm

This park has nice camping also. Probably 10 mins away. https://snohomishcountywa.gov/Facilities/Facility/Details/Wenberg-County-Park-62

Matt Bogusz    October 30, 2020 at 3:01pm

Hi. I signed up for Novice, since I just started this year. But I probably ought to be in MA60 (I'm 65). I see waitlist on that. Can you move me over?

Muchas gracias

Pierce Parnell    October 29, 2020 at 10:15pm

How long do I have to pay the extra 20$?

Anthony Hawley   October 29, 2020 at 10:36pm

Anytime before November 21st would be great.

I don’t want to play Mj15 I didn’t notice it was only reds how do I switch divisions

Anthony Hawley   October 24, 2020 at 7:03am

I can get you switched. Do you want to play intermediate?

George Bash    October 23, 2020 at 3:15pm

Will FA3 be playing from short tees again? Is there a map that shows where those tees are?

Anthony Hawley   October 23, 2020 at 3:51pm

FA3 will be playing the normal Red tees for this event. Since many of the short tees are in the grass, and it will likely be a little wet and soggy, the teepads would get really tore up and I am concerned that they would become muddy and unsafe.
