Event report submitted & Pro payout will be done shorty! Wanted to thank everyone for coming out to play this lovely course in GONZO and helping the UT team raise some funds for their National Bid in 2022. I want to give huge shot out to Ryan DeSpain for being my right hand man all weekend and to the OneStar Team Staff, Chris Garcia, Alan Rohan and James Grahmann for stepping up and helping out with everything! Thank you UT Team Vice Prez Marco Dileo for helping for course and tournament prep. Huge thanks to Joe Hamlin for making sure the course was ready, taking pictures and being a great ambassador all weekend! I left a brand new Mint Jackelope somewhere on the front 9, can't remember which hole exactly around 6ish tonight, brand new with three / four throws on it and its gorgeous orange, too... No name/number markings of course because I just bought it at the shop. If you happen to find it on the course I would greatly appreciate it returned to the lost and found.

Welcome all to the 1st University of Texas Summer Open!! presented by OneStar Disc Golf, The University of Texas Disc Golf Team and powered by MINT DISC! With special support from Come & Throw it DGC and PandemicDiscGolf.com. This event will raise funds to help defray expenses to send the University of Texas College Disc Golf Team to the College Disc Golf Championship 2022 a PDGA MAJOR! So, wear your UT gear and let that burnt orange fly!

We will have a raffle at this event which will go 100% to the UT College team!!! SO PLEASE BRING YOUR EXTRA CASH!!! You may buy these tickets anytime Friday and during the day on Saturday. We have some great stuff like a Dynamic Discs Patriot Basket Portable - includes base with wheel, Latitude Bag, Sexton Firebirds, MINT Disc, Massage, Lots of Plastic and goodies and would graciously accept any donations of disc golf merch to add to it. 100% going to UT COLLEGE TEAM!




Schedule:
● FRIDAY DOUBLES: Aug 6th, 10am-4pm, Entry $20 Team + $2 (UT FUND),
Divisions - PRO / AM.
● Check In: No need to Check In prior to event as you will already be assigned a card and hole prior www.pdga.com/tour/event/52579 AM’s can pick up Player Pack Friday during doubles or anytime Saturday.
● NO ON-SITE PLAYER MEETING…. THIS IS YOUR PLAYER MEETING!!!
● Round 1 - 9:00am Shotgun Start
● Round 2 - Will start 1 hour after last card is in on R1
● Live Scoring: pdga.com/score (digital scoring is both official and authoritative)
○ Password: UT1
****PAPER CARDS WILL BE AT HEADQUTERS TO USE AS BACK UP as an alternative scoring method must be made available in the event of technical issues.




General Course Rules:
● Road and beyond is OB (starting at curb if existing)
● Fence and beyond is OB
● Sidewalks are not OB
● Short Boxes - Holes 4, 9, 14, 16, and 18
(FA1, MA40, FA40, MA50, MA60, FA50, MA2, FA2, MA3, FA3) both rounds
● Long Boxes
(All PRO divisions & MA1) both rounds

Hole Specific Rules:
● Hole 9a - Bridge hole.
○ Double MANDO through both side support beams that go up. If you miss Mando proceed to Drop ZONE!
○ If you land on any part of the bridge but are outside the safety railing, then take casual relief in towards the center of the bridge.
○ OB painted on creek and connected to fence line.
● Hole 12 - Island green, marked by paint. Anything outside the painted island green is a HAZARD area. If in HAZARD, play from your lie and take a penalty stroke.
● Hole 18 - SHORT BOX. OB marked around the creek. Landing on the bridge is OB. Landing inside the wooden pump house is OB.

HELP! This event will raise funds to help defray expenses to send the University of Texas College Disc Golf Team to the College Disc Golf Championship 2022 a PDGA MAJOR!
