The Monterey Stinging Jellies are proud to present the Eagle Eye Classic, a PDGA sanctioned XC-Tier Doubles tournament.

For the first time ever, we have received approval from the City of Monterey to put on an event at the notorious Eagle Eye course at the Lower Presidio Park in Monterey. With the help of The Disc Golf Association we will be setting up a 18-hole course on this beautiful, historic land.

The event will start at 10am, and we will play two rounds straight (36 total holes). That means no lunch break, and no changing groups in-between rounds. So make sure to eat breakfast and bring some snacks for the round! The format will be your run of the mill best shot doubles. Each participant will receive a player package. We will also be paying out cash for Pro Divisions, and paying out AMs with script that they can use to purchase items from the Monterey Stinging Jellies inventory.

Divisions will be strictly enforced. If the team has one player rated over 900, for example, that team cannot player in Recreational. If a team has one player that is 935 or higher, they cannot player Intermediate.

Please keep in mind that we will be on City of Monterey property, and that this is the first step to establishing a permanent course at this park. If you sign up for this tournament, please plan on packing all your trash if no trash cans are available, and know that if you are caught drinking alcohol or using illegal drugs you will be promptly disqualified.


Directions : From Lighthouse Ave veer Right onto Foam St (soon after driving thru the tunnel), then turn Left at the first stoplight which is Reeside Ave, then you will just go up one block and make a Left back onto Lighthouse Ave, then make the next Right onto Pvt Bolio Rd, then make a quick left onto Corporal Ewing Rd and follow the road until you see the parking lots. Alternatively you can take Pacific St to Artillery St to Corporal Ewing Rd.
