Congrats to the winners and everyone else who had fun. Major kudos to the staff for running such an immensely successful event. 438 players. How many core staff members were there? 7. That is just amazing. We filled up 7 courses and hosted the biggest B Tier in PDGA history with 7 full time staff. This crew deserves an award.

If you are a PDGA member please take the time complete the survey that was emailed to you by the PDGA. This survey could drive some pretty big changes like eliminating prize based payouts for am's to achieve lower entry fees (Boo).
Make your opinions matter!
I doubt the disc manufacturers would want anything that could limit the plastic payouts....but my opinion doesn't matter since I haven't been current in a couple years
Prize based payouts are a rip off anyways. Tournament directors charge us $15-$20 for a disc they paid $8-$10 for. ALL PRIZE PAYOUTS ARE FOR IS TO MAKE TOURNAMENT DIRECTORS MONEY PERIOD!. That being said I would like to thank all the tournament directors for hosting tournaments, especially the state finals, and yeah to all those tournament directors that have started paying all cash payouts.

Thanks for tourney. However you put my score in wrong to pdga. Not that it matters but just thought you would like to know.
Probably would help beat if you detailed the error. They would like to do it correctly I know.

ATTN WOMEN at State finals: I noticed a lot of you do not have PDGA numbers. As a woman, you can get 40% off your first time membership. Just sign up on PDGA.com and enter the code WOMENNEW40 and it will apply the discount.
I really wish this was better known! I would have signed up a couple years ago instead of this year!

Team mobile birdie is making a run for a championship. Kaylee campbell is leading the intermediate womens division and Jakkob Lammi is tied in tenth place in the pro division. If jake can put together a sick round today at goliath then he might just make the final nine, which was his goal for the weekend. Lets go team and finish strong. Team Birdie Baby!!!!
Thanks Mark Everyone having a great time is my reward :)
Thanks Mark. We work hard to try make sure everyone has a good time and put on the best tournament we can. I think we accomplished that. We try to improve every year and there is stuff we can streamline and work on. I hope all of the players had a great time, great competition and come back next year.

Thank you Mark. One goal is to make this an event where people will go back home and tell their friends about so the Feature Events all flourish as players try and win their Berths. This year many players as well as the staff realized how important a Berth actually is. As time passes and with the growth of our sport, the FEs will consistently sell out and the Finals should continue to grow. Don't get me wrong though, plenty of fun is had behind the scene with these guys during our "strategy" meetings ;-)
Thanks Mark! It was truly a privilege and honor to work with some of the best people in the State. Excited to see what next year will bring for the players, and staff. Thanks again Jeff, Todd, Adam, Keith for putting on a spectacular event.
