Welcome to the 8th edition of the Chili Open! Splinter City is a true disc golf gem perfect for testing patience, skill, and determination. We’re thrilled to welcome you all for another beautiful Myrtle Beach tournament experience.
Please help us keep our time at Splinter City Disc Golf Course smooth, respectful, and clean. All PDGA rules and guidelines will be enforced throughout both rounds of play. All participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and responsibly at all times.
PDGA Membership Reminder
Please ensure your PDGA membership is current.
Any player not current by event date will be charged a $15 non-member fee at check-in.

Be sure to stop by Another Round Myrtle Beach, conveniently located just around the corner from Splinter City Disc Golf Course off Business Hwy 17.
The pro shop is fully stocked with the freshest plastic from all major manufacturers.
Early registration and check-in will be hosted at the shop on Friday.
Event Format & Payouts
The Chili Open VIII is a true AM-focused event:
Top Amateur finishers in each division will receive a 2026 Chili Open Trophy
Top Professional finishers will be paid out via check or PayPal

1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Players may check in early to receive their player gift and tournament information.
Tournament Day
Splinter City Disc Golf Course
Saturday, January 3rd
Day-Of Check-In:
8:00 AM – 8:45 AM
Players not checked in by 8:45 AM will forfeit their spot to a waitlisted player.
8:50 AM – Short Players Meeting
9:08 AM – Two-minute warning air horn
9:10 AM – First tee time (shotgun start)
Round 2 Start Time:
Estimated 45 minutes after the final card finishes Round 1
Lunch
Lunch is provided for all players
J Mike’s Flavor Station will be on-site serving complimentary chili and cornbread. Flavor you won’t forget!

We will be playing the new pin locations at splinter city during the Chili Open.

MPO, MP40, MA40, MA1, MA2 – Throw Pink Alt Pins
All remaining divisions – Blue Alt Pins
Round 2
All divisions – Blue Alt Pins
PLAYOFF – Sudden Death 1&18 on a loop

Hole 1: (Alt Pin) String left & beyond is OB; string to string making road OB, Mando Right, Missed Mando proceed to drop zone with penalty.
Hole 2: (Alt Pin) String and beyond behind basket is OB
Hole 3: (Alt Pin) String and beyond is OB; tee is surrounded by OB. If disc does not land or cross in-bounds, re-tee from blue tee with penalty
Hole 4: (Alt Pin) String left and sidewalk/right beyond is OB
Hole 5: (Alt Pin) Sidewalk and beyond right is OB
Hole 6: (Alt Pin)
Hole 7: (OG Pin)
Hole 8: (Alt Pin) String and beyond is OB
Hole 9: (OG Pin) String and beyond behind basket is OB

Players will have approximately 45 minutes for lunch after the final Round 1 card finishes.
PDGA Live Scoring will include all hole notes and course rules.

All groups must keep:
PDGA live scorecard AND paper scorecards, UDisc, or multiple PDGA live cards
ALL cards must match. Accountability matters.
Awards
Top finisher in each division receives a trophy
Ace Pot

If not hit, the ace pot will carry over to the next event.
