The Long Distance Competition sponsored by Anglo American Darts and Discs Guidelines are as follows:

Each division will compete against each other in the long distance competition. There are no additional cost associated with this competition.

Every player will get three (3) throws. The longest throw in each division wins a prize from the prize pool.

The longest thrower from each division will select a prize from the pool in order from longest to shortest throw.

There will be an optional long-distance mini game that will cost $1 per throw or $5 for 6 throws. Players can buy as many throws as they want. There will be no divisions for this mini-game and only the longest three (3) throwers will win.

The mini-game will consist of rolling a 6-sided die and throwing per the following chart.

1 - Sidearm
2 - Opposite Arm
3 - Putter
4 - Player's Choice
5 - Thomahawk or Thumber
6 - Standstill

1st place will get 50% of the prize money and the other 50% will go to The Parma Disc Golf Club for course development. There will also be prizes for 2nd and 3rd place.

Everyone is encouraged to participate in the mini-game to help fund our exciting new course projects in Parma!

It's looking like rain for Tournament Day, please come prepared and ready to play some water golf!

Some helpful items to bring for rain play are:

- Umbrella.
- Extra towels. Hang them in your umbrella rungs so they stay dry longer.
- Rain coat.
- Birdie bag, chalk, or some other method for drying your hands off.

If course conditions becomes hazardous due to weather, we will suspend play according to PDGA guidelines.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT TOURNAMENT HEADQUARTERS WILL BE NEAR HOLES 10-13. PLEASE LOOK AT THE COURSE MAPS IN THE PICTURES SECTION TO MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHERE TO REPORT IN THE MORNING.

Also, please show up and register at least 10 minutes before the player's meeting at 8:50am to ensure that we start on time.
