Due to PDGA Sanctioning requirements for Covid-19, the KDGA is being forced to make some changes to The Appalachian Ironman on June 20th. For starters, the event will now be a 2 day Pro/Am event. All Pros and MA1/FA1 will now be playing on Saturday June 20th, while all Non-pro Age protected Divisions, Intermediate and Rec will be playing on Sunday June 21st. There will be a 50 player cap for each day. This means the event should move significantly more quickly than it would have otherwise. Due to group size limits caddys as well as spectators will not be permitted for the event. Aside from that, the event will kick off the same as planned. 3 rounds, 1 day, 30-ish minute break between rounds. Still a PDGA sanctioned B-Tier event! Look forward to seeing you there.
