Parking
One update that is different from what I said in the video. Please park to the right of the driveway in the field and not in the parking by the pavilion. We need to leave some spaces open for other park guests.

Thanks for moving me down to junior. First tournament, and one of my friends will be there.

I'm trying to get in MA4, says it's full is there a wait list for that Division in case someone has to cancel before Friday?

It looks like there is a spot open now.

Thomas Anderson   February 16, 2023 at 4:30pm

Hi Brad, there is still one spot open if you want to sign up.

Hello,
I signed up last week in the MA2 division, but my rating is past the cutoff for the division. I just joined the PDGA, so rating update today is the first time I’ve had a rating. This is only my second tournament, so I’m not sure how accurate my rating is, either (especially since it’s from a tournament I played almost a year ago). I don’t want to upset anyone thinking I’m playing down a division. I don’t mind moving up to MA1, but I would prefer to stay at MA2 if possible. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Brett

Hi Brett, That is a great position to be in. It looks like you played a few great rounds! According to the Competition Manual 2.02, if a player becomes ineligible because of a ratings update within two weeks of a tournament, they can still play in their division if they are pre registered and at the ... more

Hi Shawn. Lunch will be on your own. You will have at least an hour to grab something.

I can. If we don't have three people in that division, I will have to move you over to MPO or MA1 on the week on the tournamnet, whichever you prefer.

Thomas Anderson   February 2, 2023 at 10:23pm

Also, I already ordered trophies and won't have any for that division, just a heads up.

Hey I'm going to be signing up myself and 2 of my kids up this weekend for the tournament. It's going to be my 13 year Olds first tournament. Is their anyway that on at least the first card he can play with me or his brother.

Hi Jeremy, I went ahead and opened up two junior divisions you can use to register your kids if you want. For the first round, I can make sure you all end up playing together, but for the second round I will arrange the cards by score. If they are in the junior division together then they will likely end up playing together.

Thank you. So I signed the 3 of us up. I signed Brayden up for the under 15 juniors division. My other son Jaden said he wanted to play in novice since he played the fall tournament in novice and placed second. He wants to try to win novice this time lol.

Ok...so I have a concern I'd like to bring to the attention of the TD. I'm a new member of the PDGA, and I played my 1st sanctioned tourney last weekend (Fairhope Jubilee). I played MA3 and finished 4th ( -2 score). Due to a hot 2nd round, the PDGA has me rated at 903. I'm quite proud of my play that day, but I don't believe I'm a 900+ rated player. My buddies consistently beat me, and they're rated 850-880. I just wanted to throw this out there, and if the TD wants ... more

Got it. Thanks Griff. I'm in the right division now

Thomas Anderson   January 10, 2023 at 5:10pm

Thank you Griff for answering!

Thomas Anderson   January 10, 2023 at 5:15pm

Tim, 900 is a hard place to be as far as ratings go, so I see where you are coming from. Just keep having great rounds and you will be MA1 soon too :)

Robert Abramowski    January 10, 2023 at 12:11am

Im registered at MA40. If the division does not fill up you can move me to MA2. Thanks.
