For divisions playing Tiger Long: please tune into this announcement about the OB and relief on the island.
In order to advance to the island, your throw must land safely in bounds. If your disc crosses over the island and lands OB, you cannot advance to the island.
Any initial tee shot that lands OB, the player has the option to retee or throw from last in bounds. Any second throw that lands OB, the player has the option to retee (if applicable) or throw from last in bounds. Any subsequent shot after your second that lands OB may proceed to the drop zone (2B tee pad, by bridge) or throw from last in bounds.
OB on the island is marked by flags, wood boards and rope. An optional DZ zone has been provided due to sitting water along OB and the inability to take relief backwards. If your disc comes to rest in the optional DZ zone, you have the option to take your stance where the disc lies or from the bricks at the base of the dock (roughly 45 feet from the basket).
Chris Jackson will be spotting on the island in Round 2 and will help to clarify the rules if needed.
