About this tournament
2 rounds of play
The Odorous Open returns for its 6th year of mayhem and destruction in 2022!! 2 rounds at the epic Punderson State Park with all competitors playing a Reds to Shorts Round 1, and then a more challenging and soul-crushing longer Round 2 (Blues/Whites/Reds to Longs depending on division).
Please note that this event has a max field of 72 players. Also, here are no division caps, and there will be no protected divisions. Registration will be first come first served.
Player packs once again will be sponsored by Gateway Disc Sports and will include a custom stamped disc and mini stash set. There will also be a few CTPs and other prizes to add on to the fun! Ace fund will be $5 and will need to be paid the day of the event. More shenanigans will hopefully be added as the event draws near.
Layouts:
Round 1 -- Reds to Shorts (All competitors) tentative to changes
Round 2
MPO, MA1, MA40 -- Blues to Longs with Gold Tee (Platform) for Hole 3
MA50, MA60 -- Whites to Longs (No Island on Hole 2)
MA2, MA3 -- Whites to Longs
MA4, all Women's Divisions -- Reds to Longs (No Island on Hole 2)
All players will be required to sign the PDGA waiver (on their player card) during check-in.
Entry Fee Breakdown:
All Open Players:
$60 entry -- $58 to payouts, $2 to PDGA fees
All Am Players:
$50 entry -- $22 to payouts, $28 to player pack, event expenses, and PDGA/club fees
Tournament HQ will be at the Sports Chalet for this event. The Chalet is located only 2 minutes away from the course and can be round taking the first left off the main park road (just around the turn past the entrance to the disc golf course area). All players will be required to check in for Round 1 AND Round 2 to ensure any format, OB, or other changes can be addressed to all players.
