I have placed a single OB flag on holes 1,3,5,8, and 12 to mark the alternate pin positions for this weekends tournament at D.F. Buchmiller Park.

I've never played a tournament with tee times. If we have an earlier tee time will we be able to warm up on later holes not being used like 16-18? Thanks.

Yeah I was wondering how warm ups could work in general. For example my start time is 10 am, but I guess every hole will be in play at that time, so I guess warm up won't be possible?

Nathan Johnson   May 13, 2021 at 7:26pm

There's a pretty large field to the left of 17's fairway, which is where I'll be throwing some warmup shots. As far as putting, I'd assume there will be a basket or two set up to putt on

Thanks, good to know

I know that things are opening up a bit when it comes to spectators. If one or two people wanted to follow the group and spectate, provided they adhered to the courtesy rules, would that be allowed? I noticed several doing that at the Running It charity event a few weeks ago.

Yes, this would be fine as long as all spectators follow social distancing guidelines with people outside of their family group. We have rented most of the park so that we are able to have extra people there.

Is there any specific layout being played? I have never played this course before and will be going to practice it soon.

This tournament will be played with one round regular (shorts) and one round alternates (longs). 5 holes do not have an alternative pin location. I will setup 5 temporary baskets for those holes.

I’m afraid I won’t be able to attend this tournament can you please issue a refund. Good luck, look to playing future events.

Signed my friend up. If you can, could you place Ethan Lown and me on the same card? Much Thanks.

If coronavirus is still raging, then the answer is yes. Otherwise, I may or may not grant requests. I’m less likely to do so for newer players.
