OB is water on 13 and 14 (disc completely surrounded by water) and on or over the painted line on 18. If any part of your disc is inbounds, the disc should play as inbounds. Group members make this ruling together. If you throw OB on 14, the short tee is the drop zone (re-tee if you were throwing from the short tee) and you add a penalty stroke.
We have some new players tonight and that is awesome! Please remember that this is a sanctioned tournament and PDGA rules are in play. You may use the back of your disc as your lie or mark your lie with a mini in the front. Please no “disc flipping.” You must throw from behind your lie. You cannot move any nature in your stance that is not dead or detached. Approach obstructed lies from behind the disc so that living trees and brush are not damaged. Please be courteous to your cardmates. Keep the course clean by disposing of trash in the bins throughout the course.
Full PDGA rules are available at PDGA.com or in the PDGA app.
Luke Taylor is serving as the rules official during the round and will be available at the check-in area should an official be needed. Nikki Taylor is TD and Craig Clingan is the Assistant TD.
Thank you so much for coming and supporting Luke tonight!
