Hello Disc Golfers,
First, I wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU for playing in this tournament. A Huge thank you to everyone who has helped and will help the day of. 100% of all money raised (other than the cash prizes) will be going to Whitehall for concrete tee pads. I encourage you to please bring cash to the event as well because there will be a raffle with lots of good prizes. I am still taking donations as well if you just want to donate.
We sold out this tournament. What does that mean? It does mean that the prizes are the promised. Each division will be paid out 1st place- $200, 2nd place- $150, and 3rd place- $100. There will be no ties. If there is a tie the winner will be decided by a throw off on hole #1. If this throw off is a tie then it will come down to who had the CTP on that throw off hole. There is an ace fund that I rounded up to $150. If no one hits this it will be donated to Whitehall. If multiple people hit they will split the funds. For CTP there will be a CTP winner on every card. This will take place on the first round on hole 4. Ultimately this is supposed to be a fun tournament to raise funds for Whitehall so if I have missed something please be nice.
There will be quite a few beginners at the tournament, and this is a GREAT thing. Please be patient and assist them when you are able. We will be keeping score the old school way, pencil and paper baby. Please use a marker. The only OB is the fenced in area on hole 2/11 and anytime the walking patch comes into play the path itself and beyond is out of bounds. If you go out of bounds take a stroke penalty and move to where your disc crossed the OB line. Other than this the normal rules apply.
Please be at Whitehall to sign in from 8:00am-9:00am. I would recommend getting there early to check out the raffle prizes. We will have a short player meeting at 9:00am and we will be having a shotgun start at 9:30am. You will be assigned holes and will find this out the morning of the tournament. This is a two round tournament, and we will take roughly an hour break between the 1st and 2nd round.
