Hey, checking the tournament out? Wondering if you should sign up?
You might be thinking, should I play a B tier on a private home course? Yes, on this course, you should. Pugatory rivals any of the excellent courses we are fortunate to have in the area, providing interesting challenges for all skill levels. Advanced players will have to strategically attack the course, while placement and consistency will reign at all levels. Each hole is a different challenge, and the topography is surprisingly varied. But there are birdies out there for all levels of play.
Should you sign up for this event, specifically? Yes, you should. You’ll not find this format anywhere else, an iron man of a B tier, done in one day. A true test. As an elder player, broken as I am, we all can put our bodies to the limit while having a great time.
I write this because I’ve witnessed the intense effort the Pug family has put into the course, not to create a “home course”, but rather a high level course at their home. And the environment is friendly and welcoming, so if you’re new, join in, we’ll be glad to have the competition.
This is a course worth playing and it’ll be a great event. There are Pugs.
