Good Morning Sunset Slingers!!!
On behalf of Latitude 64, Dynamic Discs, Westside Discs, Discmania, Kastaplast, and Soar Disc Golf, I welcome you to this Sunset Ctier presented by Latitude 64! A VERY SPECIAL THANKS to all of you who chose to Sponsor me, the South of 64 Series, and to Alex and the club. A very special thank you to Matt Pickwell, who went above and beyond the example of our extraordinary disc golf family spirit in helping me with a place to park the RV and running the RV to be repaired repeatedly so that I could make flights and keep the RV safely running. I work hard to bring you an outstanding value and experience while doing my best to give back to our community as often as possible. So, honestly, THANK YOU!
Play begins this afternoon at approximately 5:15 p.m. Check-in begins at 4:15 p.m.
PDGA live scoring will be the default scoring method. To access live scoring, download the PDGA app or go to
www.pdga.com/score; access code = knoxfun. If you have never used live scoring before, I recommend checking out the following website, which has a good guide on how it works -
https://www.pdga.com/apps/tournament/score/help. As of the start of 2024, the PDGA rules state that ALL PLAYERS are required to keep score. So ensure you have the necessary items to keep score for both rounds(i.e., fully charged phone, writing utensils, clipboard, etc.). If you do paper, you do not need to turn it in; just confirm with your digital ard mates. Please make sure you confirm scores when your round is completed! If you are unsure if you correctly confirmed scores, come to TD Central after the round is completed for assistance.
If you're ever unsure about a ruling during your round, don't hesitate to play a provisional and bring the issue to a course director after your round. We're here to support you. If you're unfamiliar with provisionals,

All Other Divisions play the same.
This is only one round, but it will be hot. Pack your water bottle/bottles and any other supplies you may need, ie cooling towels and umbrellas.
We are playing the Smoky Mountain PDGA League 2024 - Week 2 Rules
1. Completely surround by Water OB: proceed to permanent Drop Zone
6. Over Fence Right OB: Do not jump fence.
That's it. No mandos/No OBs per the league rules on the PDGA layouts.
