WHO?
PDGA Current Members
Disc golfers rated 969 or below as of January 1, 2018. New members who do not have a current PDGA rating are eligible to compete.
PDGA Non-Current Members
Disc golfers who have never been rated 970 or above.
Non-PDGA members – Disc golfers who are not current PDGA members or are so new to the PDGA that they do not have a rating are eligible to play in the event.
WHAT?
Local USAMPC singles qualifier match play brackets will be held throughout the United States and Canada in April 2018. Players that meet the qualifications described above can pay $45 to compete in one of these brackets. The Local Qualifying Bracket TD will determine the timing of when the brackets need to be played. The $45 entry fee is a one time cost. Players will receive a Dynamic Discs Fuzion Burst Maverick and Latitude 64 Gold Burst Explorer in their player pack. If a player advances to any of the next levels, there are not additional entry fees. Winners of Local Qualifying Brackets will move on to the State/Province Bracket. Winners of the State/Province Bracket will move on to the Championship Bracket in Emporia, Kansas (June 22-24, 2018).
WHERE?
Both Tampa Area qualifiers are at held at Sunset Ridge DGC in Hudson FL. The winners of the events will move onto the Florida State bracket in Tallahasse FL.
HOW MUCH?
Entry fee is $50 and includes the (2) special limited edition discs listed above and the $5 course greens fee at Sunset Ridge DGC.
FORMAT?

SCHEDULE?
All (4) rounds of the bracket will be completed on the event date unless weather prevents this from happening. At that point, the TD may exercise a schedule that would allow players to complete their brackets using other courses and on dates suitable for both parties.
PRIZES?
First Place – DyeMax Trophy Disc + $100 dynamicdiscs.com credit
Second Place – DyeMax Trophy Junior Disc + $50 dynamicdiscs.com credit
Third place – DyeMax trophy Mini + $25 dynamicdiscs.com store credit
Players that win their State/Province Championship Bracket will be provided the following:
- $500 cash for travel expenses
- Free entry into a two round stroke play B-Tier on Saturday, June 24 for the 54 players that will not advance to play on Saturday.
FIRST PLACE – $20K VALUE
18 Veteran baskets and 18 tee signs to be used wherever the champion wants! ($8K value)
Dynamic Discs will ship 18 portable or permanent Veteran baskets and 18 tee sign frames to the champion. These baskets could be donated to a local park that needs new baskets, they could go towards a new course (public or private), or any other creative place the champion chooses!
Discs for Life ($12K value) – Life sounds better than 20 years. It is really 20 years.
Dynamic Discs will provide the champion with a $2,000 credit at dynamicdiscs.com. On the first of each year (from 2019-2038), $500 will be added to the champion’s dynamicdiscs.com account to be used on discs and merchandise.
SECOND PLACE – $5K VALUE
9 Veteran baskets and 9 tee signs to be used wherever the champion wants! ($4K value)
