Thanks for participating in Sun King/Elite DG presents Fort Pierce Open 3!
This email is going to include lots of pertinent information so make sure you read through everything.
For a variety of reasons, including current and future course conditions, we have decided to switch the event format from 2 Rounds with Tee Times to a 1 Round Flex Start. If you are no longer able to play, a refund will be available.
The Flex Start means you can tee off anytime between 9am-12:30pm. Groups can be between 3-5 players. You must create your own group. If you do not have a group, we will help you find a group after you check in.
Social Distancing: This pretty much goes without saying. Wherever you are on the property, please refrain from getting too close to other players and do not touch or handle anyone else's property or discs. Please do not arrive more than 30 minutes before the time you plan on teeing off.
If you are feeling sick or have symptoms associated with COVID-19, please do not come! We reserve the right to ask someone to leave the property if we feel they might be sick.
Players Meeting: There is no players meeting, we will have course info available at check-in.
Food/Drinks: Due to COVID-19 guidelines, there will not be any public drinking water supplied on the course. The Sun King Mobile Pro Shop will have a wide assortment of snacks and cold beverages (Snapple, Gatorade, Arizona Teas, Mountain Dew & Bottled Water). In addition, we will have a food truck on site.
Weather: There is a fairly high chance of some rain so please be prepared to play in rainy conditions. Should lightning start to strike during play, listen for a single air horn blast pausing the round. Players must stop playing immediately and leave their discs at their lie.
Awards: A very basic and brief awards ceremony will take place after the tournament is complete. If the Ace Fund is not hit during the round, we will do a drawing for the prize money.
Added Cash/Payout: Added Cash to Pro Purse: $150, Last Cash Spot in Pros Will Be Minimum of Net Entry Fee, 45% Payout in All Divisions. Players who leave before the event will have their payout emailed to them; Pros via PayPal and Ams via online voucher (a small fee will be deducted to cover shipping).
