For 18-20 players 8 go
For 21 or more players 9 go.

Josiah Zoodsma Hi Brian, the schedule says that the Final 9 will only be played by the "top 40-50% of each division". Will a higher percentage of players be able to play the Final 9 if the field is not full given the additional space on the course? Jan 19, 2024

Brian Bochantin Jan 19, 2024 Yes, ultimately the final 9 can only accommodate 45 players max. If we end up with less that 45 players competing then everybody plays the final 9.
