Will there be an opportunity to practice the two extra holes prior to the tournament? If not, will there be a drawing/map/description available so we know what to expect? Thanks!

If I don’t make it into the event, will the refund be automatically issued? Or should I drop off the waitlist now to make sure I get a refund? With the monthly going on at gaw on the same day, I’d like to make sure I play at least one of the events

If you do not get in off the waitlist you get your full refund minus any transaction fees dg scene has.

We play rain or shine. If there is lightning there will be a delay. See the Pdga rules for any other questions

this is not the place to request refunds. You can click the request refund link and it will email the TD directly to ensure that person sees your request.

2021 Stafford Short Shorts Announcement:
Due to massive demand and registrations with in one minute, we have decided to split the event into two days with two different pools. I know this may not please all, but based on the players signed up we tried our best to make sure the most players got in to play.
The following divisions will be playing on Saturday 4/17:
All Pro Divisions, MA1, FA1 and MA40
The following divisions will be playing on Sunday 4/18:
MA2, MA3, FA2, FA3, MJ18 and FJ18

Not passing judgment either way. But there is obviously a supply/demand issue going on now with the influx of new discers. Maybe more c-tiers should move to one-round tee times, or possibly split the weekend into am and pro days. Just a thought. I know that’s not ideal. Overall I’m just happy to see the sport booming!

Thank you all for your patience, and especially to those that reached out with offer to help.
Becky and I, and the board of SJDG are working on the potential to split this event into two days, add some help as assistant TDs, and others willing to help day of for both days.
I'm sure splitting the event into two days would indeed upset some, as many have signed up to play on Saturday, and by moving some divisions to Sunday that will inevitably cause some schedule conflicts; but by po ...

Love the idea. And I would be glad to help out on a day that I would not be playing should I be able to snag a spot if you decide to do another go at it for a second day. Thank you for your hard work and for instantly trying to calm the masses! This guy never stops breathing disc golf period

I tried to get in the second it went live. Took me all of 20 seconds to finish the process and didn't make it. By the time I tried for the waitlist there was already 40+. Now there's 115. I'm not even going to try.

With you Scott. There were 23 people when I signed up, got through payment, but didn’t even get bumped to waitlist, just a red screen. Once I refreshed, waitlist was at 70, so I didn’t bother. Not sure what I could do differently, but I will try again next time!

Man that was insane. Think everyone had the same issues as i did. Wouldn’t even put me on the waitlist till it got up to 100. Dang guess I’ll have to try next year

You have to pay for the waitlist spot, and you will be reimbursed if you aren't able to play.

Correct, you pay for the spot, and get reimbursed later. You lose the tournament fee through DGS, which is ~$2

I will send out an email this week. Two extra holes are right after 5 short you play from 5 longs fairway to 5 long basket. Then a temp tee and basket out in the open then play 6-18.
