I have updated the pools and allowed two additional spots each for MA2 and MA3. I added one spot for MA1 as well.

Waitlist has been updated to reflect each division waitlist due to division caps. As one drops from your division a player will be replaced in that division. I’ve had a bunch of refunds already so you all on the waitlist are getting closer!

First off.. I’ve been out of the scene for a while but anyone complaining here obviously doesn’t know Becky. She’s a fantastic TD and an even better person. So anyone giving her grief should probably just stop trying to sign up for tournaments. With how much of a boom has happened in disc golf, it’s clear that they don’t need you and someone else is ready to take your spot..

Secondly. I see you, Roger.. trying to act like the white knight in all of this. Don’t forget you were once someone who contributed grief and burnout to one of our local TDs. Don’t pretend to be as squeaky clean as you’re acting here.

Those complaining should step up and offer to learn what it takes to run a single event . As the Pro that I learned from said give back from where you take from . We all want the sport to grow but giving back most certainly helps growth but yet you whine and don’t help . That’s what I call a parasite. . That’s the nice way of saying if you said theses things and I heard in person them my words would far more harsh . Feel free to message me anytime .

If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t assay anything at all. Good lord the level of entitlement from people who don’t lift a finger for disc golf is unbelievable. Bashing Becky, who runs multiple events per year, is the quickest way to have fewer events. I have and do TD, if only those who feel emboldened to bitch and moaned realized they were the reason that more people don’t volunteer. The headache produced from whining players who don’t get in is so unnecessary. As mentioned, if you think you could do better than step up or shut up.

Division caps, in my opinion, are actually an ingenious idea to keep the representation fair and allotting spots for the female or junior players who don’t always get a chance to play against others in their own division. When MA2 fills up in less than 30 seconds and typically sees a field of at least 20-30 player, there aren’t always enough slots for the other divisions. To me, this is a fair judgment call the TD. I never thought about division caps until seeing how quickly tournaments fill up lately. Nice work Becky and Adam! Thank you guys and the woodpecker crew for all the hard work putting this on!

I love how everyone is complaining about another popular event. The divisions have been capped and set for a month. I already said I am not splitting this up into two days or two days with tee times. Players you need to remember that the TDs do this for FREE!!!!! I already split short shorts event into two days I am not doing it again for this event. I'm sorry if you feel this way, but I am happy to issue any refunds if you are not happy with how the event has been run (when the tournament hasn't even gone forward yet).
