Hello,
You are receiving this email because you are registered for the Persimmon Ridge Spring Sling Triples on Saturday, May 7. If you know of anyone who has registered and hasn't received this email, please forward to them.
First off, thank you very much for registering to play. We really appreciate you playing and are working hard to make this a great event.
Registration will begin at 7:30 tomorrow morning in the pro shop. This triples tournament will play as best shot format. Please make sure to arrive early enough to check-in at the pro shop and at your assigned hole by 8:58am. I will provide you with your hole assignment at check-in. We will be using paper scorecards for this event. Each card will need to complete a scorecard and turn that in at the end of the round. It's a good idea to keep a backup as well and UDisc works great for this. I have created a layout in UDisc for each division that you can use for scoring and transfer to the paper card after the round if you’d like.
All amateurs (REC and ADV) will receive $20 to spend in the pro shop. We have a list of all players and will mark your name off as you spend your voucher. Please make sure and utilize your voucher before you leave for the day. In the event you are unable to find something you like/need, we are offering 5 free-round passes ($25 value) to Persimmon Ridge that you can purchase with your player pack voucher. All player pack vouchers will expire at the end of the day.
Included in registration is a $100 Ace bounty on hole 1 and 2 CTPs – Chillow hole 1 and 8. All divisions are eligible for both CTPs – REC will play from the short tees and ADV/OPEN will play from long tees. Winner of each CTP will receive $20 to spend on Persimmon Ridge logo merchandise.
An OB sheet is attached to this email that contains OB rules for all holes. Please take time to read over this and address any questions you have with me prior to the event.
While this event is not sanctioned by the PDGA, we will still utilize those rules to govern this event. Please make sure you are familiar with the official rules of disc golf. The PDGA created a video series to provide an overview. Additionally, the UDisc app contains the full list of all rules in searchable format. Just navigate to the “More” tab within UDisc and look for “Official Rules and Regulations”.
Looking forward to a great tournament and seeing everyone on Saturday. If you have any questions/issues, please reach out. My contact info can be found below.
Thanks!
