Good afternoon everyone! We have finalized payouts for Spring Fling - Pro day. The payout levels are as follows:
MPO - Top 25
FPO - Top 4
MP40 - Top 6
MP50 - Top 1
MP60 - Top 3

Any refused payouts will be converted to a gift card with our vending partner, Disc Revolution. We are planning to send out payouts later tonight, so let us know as soon as possible if you want to refuse payout.

Happy Tuesday everyone -

The course layout has been finalized and attached to this email. To allow for practicing, we have flagged all temporary tee pads, pin placements, and drop zones. Remember, there are 3 courses currently marked. We have noted on each flag which course and hole number are in use.

Thursday and Friday we will be putting up tee signs, and marking hazards.

The course is similar to last year, but there are definitely some changes, take a look at the map!

One of the bigger changes is hazards will be in play for the following holes:
Condor #1 (Regular 1)
Condor #10 (Regular 14)
Condor #13 (Regular 17)
The rock circle hazards will be marked with brightly colored pinwheels so they are clearly visible. The pinwheels will not be added until Friday.

**The hazards will be defined as anything fully inside of the rock wall boundary defining the circle. The disc must be completely inside the rock circle and not touching any of the rocks defining the circle. The pinwheels will be inside* the hazard and are not safe. They are only for visual identification, not for defining boundaries. The rock circle boundary itself is safe.
The pinwheels also let you know which rock circles are hazards. We have strategically selected a few rock circles that really enhance risk reward on their holes... If a rock circle doesn't have any pinwheels... It's safe!!!
One last note, you do not get relief from hazard areas, whether you are safe or not.

It's Spring Fling week, and I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for signing up. We have a big week ahead of us!
Joel and I are walking the course to move baskets and make sure the big storm didn't cause any layout issues (swamp expansions). We are planning to flag all of the temporary teepads and baskets tonight and will be sending out course maps tomorrow. We will be using the Condor layout with a couple adjustments to add the Portal and Silo basket locations to the layout (along with some other smaller changes)
1 - Our friends at Disc Revolution will be at Spring Fling this year for all of your plastic and apparel needs. Stop by and check them out!
2 - We will publish hole assignments on Saturday. Registration will be from 7-830am on Sunday morning. Even though you will already know your hole assignment you must check in! If you aren't checked in (or in line for check in) by 830, we will give your spot to day-of waitlisters present.
3 - Please be aware... we are following PDGA guidelines for late withdrawls:Drops within 14 days of the event will be subject to a $10 fee, the remainder of your refund is subject to your spot being filled in this event.

Josh and I have been working on the course this week, and want to provide a slightly updated map.

There are no changes to the layout, but we wanted to clarify the hole descriptions based on the hole numbers as they are noted on the course signs. This should eliminate any confusion. Please find the updated map attached.

Let us know if there are any questions, and we look forward to seeing you all on Sunday! (Not Saturday, as Josh's Tuesday email stated ????).
