About this tournament

The Space Race is designed to be a fast-paced, no holds barred, race to the chains after sundown. Come enjoy a fun round of glow-in-the-dark disc golf with new custom stamped event discs and lit up baskets!

This tournament will feature a modified version of Centennial Gardens (partial course), to maximize fun and Aces! This event is a great way to scoop up two unique glow discs and some Ace cash! Each of the 13 holes will also have a CTP prize to be won! Players can assemble their own cards entered in any division, or message the TD to be placed on a card. This event is a non-PDGA sanctioned tournament, open to everyone of all ages and ability levels and family friendly. Please message the Tournament Director, if you have any questions about the best registration division option for you. Feel free to dress in costume or paint up your face Dia De Los Muertos style!

Participants will play 1 round of 13 holes, from modified (shorter) tees marked out with wooden stakes and glow paint. These modified holes will also avoid water hazards that are normally included during play in this park. Holes will be from 75 to 200 (ish) feet in distance. Each tee marker will also include a unique advantage, different for each hole. These advantages will not be revealed until you are making your way through the course and your card arrives at each tee. You may ONLY use the two discs provided to you for this event during play! You may not use any non-player pack discs. Score can be kept on a paper card or on the udisc app. Only one score card per time slot needs to be submitted to the TD following your round.

Your player's pack consists of 2 exclusive discs released only for this event:

MVP Eclipse Atom: 3/3/0/1 (a straight throwing putter)
Axiom Particle Eclipse Crave: 6.5/5/-1/1 (a straight fairway driver with great glide)

There is a 5$ Ace Pot (optional buy in) which can be added to your registration.
NOTE: The ace pot will be split between all aces, regardless of the hole number or advantages posted. Notify the TD immediately when an ace has been hit. Money can be paid out on site in cash or following the event by e-transfer. In the event that no Aces are scored, money collected for the Ace Pot will be donated to the CWE/WGE in St. Catharines to allow women and juniors who may not be able to afford registration to compete in this event.

Players will also be automatically entered to win additional prizes! Each player will receive a number for the additional draw prizes at no cost. Your number will be provided to you upon check in and posted at the registration table.

Please show up 10 minutes PRIOR to your selected tee time for check in, to receive and mark your discs, for a brief orientation and player meeting. Please bring a UV flashlight to recharge your discs during play.

Trophies, CTP and additional prizes will be awarded at a short ceremony once play concludes (approximately 9:15pm)
