SpAce Race 2016! Round 3 is in the tomes of time and once again records were shattered! Sara Wells set the new high score in the Women's Division with 24 points. Early in the round, Travis Pugh and Jeremy Coulter both aced #8 to claim a stake to the double ace pot. Shortly thereafter, Aaron Sturgeon and Jordan Weinfurtner both aced #11, meaning we were looking at a split ace pot. Not content with merely half, Travis and Jeremy both aced #11 on their second round, now claiming 2/3 of the pot! How close were Aaron and Jordan to getting half still? I'll tell you how close -- Aaron aced #8 while Jordan chained out! It's the first time a team has hit the double ace pot on two separate holes on a day. I know other teams came very close to grabbing a piece of the pot, but couldn't get that second ace to stick.
