Presumably, if you don't get in, the entry fee gets refunded? I mean, it only makes sense, but it doesn't really say that's what happens anywhere. It just says tournament staff are responsible for it.

David it's a PDGA event therefore PDGA refund policies are in effect. If you do not get into the event then you will be refunded your entry fee.

For everyone that had an issue with the registration, you should all know by now that SJDG, myself and our TD staff is top notch. We will, or likely already have made everything correct.
We are sorry for the system issue, as I personally set it up, and it seemed more than fine when I tested it. Seemed like it was all set correctly, and I tested it to check. Again sorry for the inconvenience.

Yes, by 9:00am this morning, everyone who signed in after 8pm last night, paid for a sponsorship, and wanted a refund got their $25 back. We have even received a few extra sponsorships, so thanks to all who support our events!

For the record; there was obviously a glitch in the DG Scene system somewhere. Thanks for jumping on the TD and complaining immediately. Jeff, Scott, Bruce, you are all still here watching me respond to it. You would have been able to register without issue as it did not fill yet.
You signing up ahead of others to guarantee your spot was the entire purpose of the sponsorship. By doing so, you received special status. Now you want it back as a loophole, and SJDG does not get the added bonus of ...

Brandon I get it that being a director is a lot of work, but the system not working correctly is not my burden it is yours. Brandon. You can keep the $25 hole sponsorship if you want. But the fact that it took 40 minutes to correct the issue is not on us. I do not know why the registration did not automatically open at 8:00pm like the software was set up to do. I was able to fix it around 8:40pm. Sorry for the delay.

for those of us who payed for a sponsor hole to ensure registration, can we get that $25 back? I don't want to withdraw and then lose my spot as I try to re-register again, it's starting to fill up quickly...

I just tried editing my registration and it submitted a refund request for the hole sponsorship to the director, so we'll see what happens

So now that the registration is fixed, if I withdraw (hole sponsor registration), will I get my $25 refunded too and then re-register under general registration?

I bought the $25 sponsor so that I would be registered. I want my $25 back when the Director fixes the problem because I really don’t want to buy a sponsor just to play.

We will have to wait a bit longer to see, the Covid rules change often and prudence says we wait a bit to make that call.
