PLAYERS EMAIL SENT 06-22-25
Hello and thank you for registering for the 9th Solstice Soirée Supported by Innova! I hope you are as excited as I am for a wonderful weekend in the mountains with temps in the 70’s and maybe 60’s on Sunday, not 90’s. One big note about the property is there is very limited cell service up there. Unsure about current wifi either. The ranch itself is in the middle of changing ownership, so you’ll need to give some grace if there are any changes I’m not aware of yet. Not expecting any, but just FYI.
Trophies have been ordered so divisions are locked in with first place for all current Am divisions, plus MA2 gets a 2nd place trophy respecting the top two on that layout. In addition to the 100% + value players pack there will be CTP’s for specific groupings/ divisions, announced at the players meetings.
I am extending the registration closing date to Wednesday night, to hopefully have one last push. That means you all can still add or subtract anything from your registration until then like food. All food orders must be placed through the registration page. There will be no food orders allowed on-site, which has caused major issues in the past. I’ve attached an instruction image if you’re not familiar with how to change your registration.
Player check-in is first come first served as far as disc selection and camping spots. There are lighter weight discs and multiple color choices in both the Innova Nexus Halo XD and the Innova Champion IT. There aren’t designated camp spots, just nice areas in either a meadow one one side or in the pines on the other. NO PERSONAL CAMPFIRES AT ALL! There will be a communal campfire Saturday evening.
I will have printed color copies but please download the updated course map 02 from the website or DG Scene. Keep in mind there are two mandos as normal, T12C15 is only a Mandatory Right of marked tree for the PRO tee players and T16C19 is a Mando Left of marked tree and both have a Drop Zone at each mando tree for everyone. T12C15 drop zone is also the INT Tee. New this year is OB on the fece line that goes behind the basket on T24C37. Please follow the course map as it will be the foundation for all disputes or problems.
Mini disc golf, Putting and Accuracy can be played anytime you want, as many times you want through Sunday morning. It would be best to register online so you can get your scorecard when you check-in. But anytime during the weekend anyone can just come buy another scorecard at anytime for $6 each event, with half payout and half donated to charity. All extra fun event scorecards including the Saturday night glow round must be turned in by the 2nd round players meting Sunday morning to count. I always have Tournament Central Info Sheets with my cell, email, event schedule, extra fun info, etc all around. But Feel free to call, text, or email if you have questions, or issues. I will have discs for sales as well if you loose some or just want to support me. Huge thanks to the tournament sponsors who helped make it happen! Innova Disc Golf, Trash Panda Disc Golf, The Vansmith, The Coffee Ban
Thanks,
