Hello everyone! We are excited to bring sanctioned play to the beautiful Snyder Park in Springfield! We wanted to get an email out earlier than normal so you can get in some practice rounds using the tournament layout. We will follow up with another email on Friday with any changes or updates. Player packs can be picked up before or after the round. The player packs will be mystery packs! You will receive two premium discs with a minimum value of $40 and a few are going to walk away with a collectible disc worth over $100! Good luck!

Tee off will be at 1pm. There will be no players meeting. We will be closing the roads to the inside of the park to ensure player safety and experience. There will be community members who will bypass our gates and best efforts to keep them off the road. Leave them alone. If a car is coming through as you are teeing off, let them pass. Our team expects every Disc Golfer participating to be respectful and courteous of community members who might be using the park at the same time.

This is a sanctioned PDGA C-Tier event. All players must play by all PDGA rules and standards.

We will have our proshop set up near hole 19 after the tournament. There we will announce division winners and payouts for AM divisions. The top 45% will receive payouts. Pro divisions will be paid out via Paypal within 3 days of the event.

Cards will be set and sent out Friday afternoon.

We are playing a 20 hole layout. The two added holes to the main layout are as follows:

1A). This will play after hole 1 coming back towards hole 2. The portable basket will not be placed until right before the round, but the tee box is already painted. It is a 250 tunnel shot with OB left behind and right. We will have signs marking tee-pads. DO NOT THROW FROM ANYTHING THAT IS NOT MARKED AS A TEEPAD.

19). We are playing the practice basket coming back from hole 18 to hole 1. There is a teepad marked on the road. OB plays very tight to the left, so throw carefully.

OB painted line on cliff (must cross over water). OB on or over the road long. (If disc does not cross inbounds, you must re-tee with penalty stroke)

Tee off from concrete inside shelter. OB on or over road left, behind, and right.
Hole 7- Par 3: 245ft
OB surrounded by water. OB on or over the road away from the basket. Bridge is casual.

OB surrounded by road. Gravel is casual. (take bags with you up the hill, the next hole tees off near arch)

About the tees.. you said "road tees" will be used... so is that like the hazy shade ran snyder park layout making basically everything all longs for the upper 3 divisions and all of the shorter tees ... show more ›

About the tees.. you said "road tees" will be used... so is that like the hazy shade ran snyder park layout making basically everything all longs for the upper 3 divisions and all of the shorter tees for everyone else or are there road based tees for all of the shorts and longs? I can only think of short tees on 1,2, and 17 which are in the grass/dirt as well as most of the "normal" non paint marked road areas. Just trying to see if these are stuff that are already marked or if there will be special road tee areas for every hole.
