Just got done dropping everything off at the Interfaith Shelter...after costs we raised $380 and over 300 pounds of food for the charity!! Thanks again to everyone for coming out and making this possible. Big thanks also to all of the sponsors who donated all those cool prizes we got to give away. Hope to see you all back next year for the Ice Bowl and for our next tournament The Birds and The Bees on April 19th!

I've also gotten messages regarding lost discs and I see some people posting here in the talk section as well. We are very dedicated to getting everyone's plastic back to them if found. We're there every week and if we find it at league it will be returned to you asap. I'm betting once the spring thaw happens we'll have a lot of phone calls to make :)

Looks like we did raise a good chunk of change for the Interfaith Shelter. I don't have final numbers now, but I'll put them out there once the dust has settled. Nice job everyone making it out to support this great cause! We FAR exceeded our food goal with at least a couple hundred pounds in canned goods.

Great tourney today gentlemen, well run, excellent prizes and lunch too!! I'm sure when the final tally comes back we will have raised ALOT for the Jackson Interfaith Shelter..the Ice Bowls really are worth getting put and playing! And when the snow pack finally melts up there in MI if someone comes across a red Beast on 14 (short of the big tree before the basket in the woods to the right) I'd appreciate a call; it has my name and telephone number on it. 30 degrees and partly cloudy this Saturday..perfect weather for golf! Teepads will be cleared and salted and there are good beaten paths down each fairway so we should be in great shape. Looks like the park will not be clearing out the pavilion for us, so tournament central will be held near the kiosk and hole 1. We'll have some setting up to do in the morning. Anyone that would like to come out early and help that would be greatly appreciated. Also, we currently have no ladies signed up! There is a women's division trophy, prizes, etc. so if you know some ladies that would like to come out and win these prizes let them know. Thanks!

Big thanks to Diane Hutchins for providing the chili and hot dogs and coming out to help prepare everything. Would also like to thank Diane Fought for making the potato salad for us. Lunch is free, but donations would be greatly appreciated. Can't wait to have everyone out next weekend..this Ice Bowl is gonna rock!

This will really help in preparing for the day of cause I have a feeling this is going to be a BIG tournament. I've gotten a lot of verbal confirmations from people that I see haven't put their name in yet. Sign up today! Raffle tickets can be purchased for $1 apiece or 1 ticket for every 2 canned goods donated. All the food will go to the Interfaith Shelter to feed the homeless. What a great opportunity to help those in need during this incredibly harsh winter!
