Smashin' It Mixed Doubles
About this tournament
This is a fundraiser event for Ladies Smashin;' It, the first stop on the Midwest Women's Tour.
This is a bring your own partner (1 male, 1 female) mixed doubles tournament. If you need a partner please contact me and I can try to find you one!
There will be 5 divisions, Pro Mixed, Am Mixed, Men's, Men's doubles and adult/junior (if you can't find a female partner but please try to find a partner first!). If you normally play Pro or Advanced you will play Pro Mixed. All other Ams will play Am Mixed.
To pre-reg, post on the talk board here and tell me you and your partners names, Team Name, division, and pdga numbers if you have one.
Cash pay out for Pro teams ($20 will come out of each Pro entry to the fundraiser.)merch payouts for Ams, Men's and adult/junior
Format: 2 rounds of 18 holes.
All mixed teams will play the same format. Each round, each team must play from 8 of the men's drives and 8 of the women's drives, which leaves you with two floaters. The rest of the hole is best shot.
Adult/junior division will depend on the ages of the kids signed up. 9 and under will have short tee pads. This division does not need to be 1 male/1 female. Let's just get these kids out playing!
Mulligans will be for sale- since this is a fundraiser you can purchase 1 mulligan for $1.00 for each hole for both rounds if you would like. We will sell mulligans again at lunch, in case you change your mind for round 2.
Also a special little incentive- if you have discs laying around at home that you don't plan on using bring them to the tournament. For each new disc you bring you will receive 2 entries and 1 entry for each gently used discar. You will have the choice to choose between a drawing for free entry into Ladies Smashin'It or Camp Smash this summer.
Entry Fees:
Pro Mixed- $40, Men pay $25, women pay $15!
Am Mixed- $25, Men pay $20, women pay $5!
Adult/junior- $25
Pros, $20 of your entry fee will go to the fundraiser.
There will be a 50/50= $3.00 and ace pool for $2.00 (if no ace is hit, it goes to the fundraiser)
We will also have a raffle going on that day!
All proceeds will go to the Ladies Smashin' It tournament. I hope you will come out and support the women! Thank you!
