I have split the pool of players into 2 separate divisions. MA2, MA3, and MA4 will tee off at 1PM. All other divisions will tee off at 9AM. I have increased the maximum amount of entries to 180 with the potential for 5 person cards. Players pack will now be a $15 gift card to Tree Magnets. This decision was made a little while ago based on the uncertainty in the amount of players. For those competitors signed up twice, I have written to the PDGA in hopes of getting the event split into 2 events. Without this change, those players will be refunded and removed their 2nd entry. I will give all players 3 days to request a withdrawal if they are unhappy about any of those changes. During those 3 days, a 100% refund will given to players. Any requests received after 12/10 will follow normal PDGA procedures.

One last thing, I have run this event 4 times. I will do what I think is best, when I think is best, and deliver that information to you at the appropriate time. There are lots of moving pieces as competitors are signing up daily. I never promised anyone a particular tee time and nobody should expect that in any PDGA event. This is by far the earliest I have ever put these out, and it still may make things difficult in the end.

Thank you all for signing up for the 4th edition of Silver Bells. Besides helping Kayla out with women’s events, this will be my last event as a TD for awhile. I’m burnt out. I want a break. I want to play disc golf with my daughter and friends in my free time. The TD grind has gotten to me. I have also gotten a much larger workload at my full time job.

Anyway, MA2, MA3, and MA4 will tee off at 1pm. Please check-in from 12:15PM to 12:45PM. Your hole assignments will be posted at tournament central. All other divisions will tee off at 9AM. You can check-in from 8AM to 8:45AM. There will be a players meeting for both tee times approximately 15 minutes prior to tee off. We will be using PDGA live scoring for our rounds. All players are expected to keep score. Paper cards will be available upon request. You can keep score at this website.

All amateurs will receive a $15 gift card to Tree Magnets as their players pack. Please make sure your email address on discgolfscene is accurate. I hand selected my personal favorite disc throughout the years for every tournament I ran. These have been hanging on my wall for years. They will be the trophies for this event. All winning players from each division will pick their favorite from the lot. Pro players will be paid in cash.

I’d like to thank all of you for supporting me throughout the years. It’s a difficult decision I do not take lightly. I just want to be a player again. I have attached The Haymaker caddy guide, which applies here. One thing of note, THERE WILL BE NO MANDOS for this event.
