Good evening Show or Shine Showdown players,
Thank you to all of our players who signed up for this FLEX start event at Hinson Lake DGC. We have tee times from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM every 10-minutes for this event with several time slots still open for players. At the time of this email there are 69 players signed up, and I will be sending this email out again tomorrow afternoon for anyone that has added or missed this one.
This event will be the season opener for RCDGG PDGA sanctioned events for the 2023 season. This is the 1 of 8 that we currently have planned to be sanctioned for the year in our area. This is a PDGA Sanctioned C-Tier and will be utilizing a 20-Hole modified layout with alternate basket locations and a temp hole. Temp baskets on Holes 3, 13, 17, and a full new temp hole called 13A between normal Holes 12 and 13. (tee signs created for the event are attached to this email)
PDGA LIVE CODE: RCDGG
PLAYERS ARE TO MEET AT THE REGISTRATION TENT WHICH WILL BE SET UP ADJACENT TO HOLE 18's TEE PAD. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO CHECK-IN 15-30 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR TEE TIME FOR US TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE IS ACCOUNTED FOR AND NO TEE TIMES START LATE.
Registration Cost and Breakdown:
Pro: $30, Payout via PayPal ($23 to payout, $5 to Hospital, $2 PDGA Fee)
Am: $15, Payout via OTB Gift Cards in addition to players pack ($8 to payout, $5 to Hospital, $2 PDGA Fee)
AM's Players Packs:
- $1 off combo to Daily Dose Nutrition
- $4 in Lucky Bucks from Lucky Disc Golf
Ace Pot and CTP's:
- Ace Pot: The RCDGG will be putting up $50 for an Ace Pot for this event for all holes except Hole 1. To be entered into the Ace Pot it is a $1 entry fee and payout if an ace is hit will be paid out via PayPal at the conclusion of the event. All entries into the ace pot will be added to the $50 the RCDGG has contributed. If no Ace is hit then the Ace Pot will be split in equal THIRDS to RCDGG, the hospital, and payouts for ALL Divisions.
- CTP's: There will be CTP's for ALL AMs on Holes 5, 8, 11, 12, 14, and 17 for Saturdays event. Entry into the CTP Pool is $5 and this also puts you into a raffle for a Discmania Stratosphere Horizon DD1!
