Thank you James Carmen for an amazing tournament. I have a big appreciation for all the work it took to mark the out of bounds/hazards and circle 1's. Was a really challenge out there.

Thank you! It is a lot of work and I had a lot of help from some great people, but it’s all worth it in the end when you know people enjoyed themselves.

Zach Sisson    May 20, 2021 at 3:30pm

Is there by any chance any drone footage of the Wind Rush course??

Jimmy Carman   May 20, 2021 at 7:09pm

Unfortunately when I shot the beast course, I didn’t have enough battery life to shoot wind rush.

Zach Sisson   May 20, 2021 at 9:54pm

No worries, thanks!

At this point, as the waitlist has been eliminated, I will be forced to enlist the Pdga‘a policy in regards to withdrawals for the amateur field. Players packs have to be ordered in advance of the event. If people sign up to fill the spot, full refunds with be offered. If no one fills the spot, a player will be given the players pack in accordance with the Pdga rules. https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/103

Thank you for the the info. So it's already painted and flagged or did you mean tomorrow 5/11?

Jimmy Carman   May 11, 2021 at 8:32pm

5/11, correct. My mistake.

Mike Slaunwhite   May 14, 2021 at 1:42pm

Hi Jimmy, thanks for posting the OB and extra holes. Was out there a couple days ago and it makes sense/looks good. One question, for the various Road OB. Is that specifically only the road as OB, or 'on or over road'?

Matthew Strobel    April 14, 2021 at 2:13pm

Really hoping to get in this tourney, how far in advance would the waitlist know if they are in?

Jimmy Carman   May 7, 2021 at 11:28pm

At this point, I don't believe we can add any more holes to the course. There may be a few more drops, but I cannot guarantee anything there.

Jimmy Carman    April 4, 2021 at 11:18pm

Age & Gender protected divisions will have until 4/15 to hit caps, then we will adjust division caps.

Tee assignments?

Jimmy Carman   March 30, 2021 at 4:01pm

I’ll be working on this soon. It’s very likely I’ll be using the same tee assignments as the BFDO.

Frank Carbone    March 25, 2021 at 11:08pm

With only 2 in MA40+, will you move us to MA2-Intermediate?

Jimmy Carman   March 25, 2021 at 11:09pm

I suspect you've got a few more coming your way at some point...the ma40 division usually gets 4-8 players. We'll adjust closer to the event if necessary.

Jimmy Carman   March 25, 2021 at 11:13pm

we have 4 already, the ma40 guys move at their own pace sometimes lol

Peter Knox    March 25, 2021 at 11:02pm

I meant to reg for Intermediate, can you move me there please?

Jimmy Carman   March 25, 2021 at 11:03pm

sorry, you're now an advanced player for the rest of your career

Peter Knox   March 25, 2021 at 11:05pm

lol, thanks for changing it

Melynda Apton    March 25, 2021 at 5:22pm

If more than the 2% of Advanced women register, will you move them to their proper div? Assuming they register Int or Rec

Jimmy Carman   March 25, 2021 at 8:24pm

I’ve added 4 additional slots to each women’s division. I realize this does not address your question specifically, however I hope you find this to be a better solution.

Sherry Herzog    March 25, 2021 at 10:44am

May I suggest allotting more spots for women to sign up since there are so many women in our area playing right now. The women who are signed up for BFDO will more than likely want to play this tournament to practice it in a tournament setting.

So after reading all these comments and looking at all the slots for all the divisions it looks like there are only eight ladies between Buffalo and Rochester that play tournaments.

Jimmy Carman   March 25, 2021 at 8:26pm

I’ve added 4 additional slots to each women’s division. I realize you may wish for you, however this is the most I can offer at this time. Ideally, I would love to add more slots to all divisions, but we are dealing with many restrictions.

Justin Ernst   March 25, 2021 at 8:50pm

I think that's a fair compromise given the field size and location James. There were 4 more than that that signed up for the bfdo but the pro out of towners likely wouldn't be playing this.
