Well, here we are, 4 days out from our first event! I'm super excited to get out on that beautiful course and play some golf with my Shasta Series family and I hope you all are as well!
NEWS on the WAITLIST: Anyone on the waitlist that has a bag tag will be added to the event registration and allowed to play, regardless of their position on the list (this is due to the understanding that a bag tag "guarantees" you get to play in each event). All those without tags will be removed from the waitlist and refunded any registration fees paid through disc golf scene. Apologies in advance for any hurt feelings, but this is the way it will be this time. I wish we could get everyone in, but, with the current format, it's not feasible. We'll be exploring options to expand the event in the future.
NOTE: Non-bag tag holders that were able to complete registration through Disc Golf Scene and get into the event will be allowed to play. The above only applies to the waitlist.
This will put us over the listed event cap of 120 players, increasing crowding on the course and slowing the pace of play.
POLICY CHANGE: From NOW ON, your bag tag will only guarantee you early registration for each event. Once the registration is opened to non-bag tag holders, your spot will no longer be guaranteed as a bag tag holder. There is no excuse for not getting signed up in advance, as I have always been willing to accommodate people who are unable to pay online by adding them manually to the registration at their request.
