With deep sadness and regret I have decided to cancel the Shades of Gray MASTERS Sponsored by Dynamic Discs. After months and months of planning, time, money, energy and good old hard work, the venue's new ownership decided to wait until a week away from the tournament to let me know they had a problem with our original agreement from this spring. They choose money over people & fun and after scrambling for replacement courses it quickly became obvious that it would be physically impossible to continue. During the wonderful times we're in, to get a B-Tier tournament put together and submit a complete business plan to the city and county for Covid health regulations approval including time to get government approval and then sent back, not to mention park&rec permits plus figure out course specifics and create a map would just not happen within seven days.

So I completely apologize and feel horrible. I will start working on the 2021 Shades of Gray MASTERS soon as it will help me deal. However all is not lost, at least for you the players. Here is what's going to happen next.

All Pro divisions will receive 100% refund of entry fees through PayPal.
All Amateur divisions will receive 100% of entry fees in both players pack value and the remainder in PayPal refund.
All extra fun events entries will be refunded 100% through PayPal: Long Drive, Putting, Mini Disc Golf.
All disc purchases will remain intact and will be fulfilled. I will ship them out to you in the next week or two.

I'd love to be able to tell you what the amateur players pack value is, but I left frantic messages at Dynamic Discs after finding out the news and haven't heard back yet. So I don't know what they have completed or stopped or what. Nevertheless I will ship your players packs to you. I have to cancel the PDGA Event but will keep the DiscGolfScene registration page open until the cutoff next Wednesday. That way you can modify your registration to buy custom tournament discs that are certainly unique collectors because the event never happened and the artwork embraces what a crazy year it's been. You can even have your friends use the DISC non-participant division to buy custom tournament stamped discs through DG scene.

Again I am very sorry and I hope you keep an eye on peacejames.co or follow our social media. Can't wait to put on some really fun and exciting events again. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Dear Matt, is Lakota GC a private facility? I'm loading up that weekend, bringing the wife and 19 yr old son. Can my son buy a bucket of balls at the driving range? Can they hang out in the clubhouse while we play? Or will the place be off-limits unless one is there for the tournament? Thanks
