This is a fundraiser tournament to benefit the University of Cincinnati Disc Golf Team, the Discats. The money will go to help offset the costs of traveling to the National Collegiate Disc Golf Championships held in Appling, Georgia. This will be the Discats fifth appearance. Last season was the teams best ever performance taking home 8th place!
The tournament will be best shot doubles format. There will be one rounds of 24 holes. $20 will be taken from each entry to go to the club as the fundraiser, and the remaining will go to payout! There will be cash payout for each division. This will be made up for through many CTPs that will be in play for different divisions!
At the time of registration there is ace pool, 50/50 CTP, and field games available for purchase. All proceeds will go directly to the club.
A lunch will be available for purchase at the course. There will be burgers, hot dogs, chips, and drinks available. Again, all proceeds will go to the club.
T-shirts will be available for purchase for $15 with all proceeds going to the UC Discats.
An interesting change that will be made for this year will be in format. It will be one round of 24 holes, followed by lunch and field games. There will be multiple games set up for play. Each participant will receive one attempt at each field game included in their entry, and additional entries will be available for purchase day-of or during pre-registration. These games will include putting skills, long drive, and accuracy. There will be prizes for each of these events as well!
