Hey Cory, my pleasure!
Each round you play, you earn a certain number of points depending on which division you play in based on how many other players you finish ahead of or tie, including yourself. At the end of the series, I look at the points totals on the events page (https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/96465) and pay out the points pool prizes to the top 30% of scorers in each division.
Each player's entry fee contributes $2/round to the points pool for the division they registered for. For example let's say we had an average of 8 players per week, with 15 unique players in MPO. So over the 6 weeks, we have 48 total scored rounds (8 players x 6 weeks) = $96 in the points pool. With 15 players, the top 3 would be paid out, so $48 to 1st place, $29 to 2nd place, and $19 to 3rd place.
