Good morning Scotland County Spring Challenge players!!
This event is run and operated by the Richmond County Disc Golf Group as we looked to expand our reach into neighboring counties this year where the local disc golf courses are underutilized for tournament play! This helps build variety in the community, and by providing our local players with tournaments throughout the year.
Along with this email we will still have a Players Meeting at Tournament Central once registration/sign-in has concluded. Below are some logistics for tomorrow that players should be aware of prior to arriving in the morning.
Tournament Central Location and Info:
- Tournament Central will be located adjacent to Hole 15's basket, and Hole 16's tee pad. A map has been attached to this email for players convenience in knowing where this is located. This position allows for players to be much more centralized compared to past events at this location where Hole 1 was tournament central. The large gravel parking lot or paved parking lot by this location will be open for players to park in.
CHECK-IN AT TOURNAMENT CENTRAL BETWEEN 8:00 AM AND 8:45 AM WITH QUICK PLAYERS MEETING SHORTLY AFTER AT 8:55 AM
- Also at this location we will have past tournament discs and RCDGG apparel for sale. All Trilogy discs for $10 a disc, and Lonestar and Discraft for $15 a disc (as well as any leftover Innova discs for this event once all players packs have been picked up). Apparel prices will be provided on site in the morning.
Format:
- C-Tier Event
- 2-Round Shotgun Start, With Round 1 Starting at 9:30 AM
- ROUND 2 will begin 45-MINUTES after the conclusion of the last card has finished Round 1.
- An awards ceremony will take place at tournament central at the conclusion of the event!
