Salt Lake Ice Bowl

We had a blast at the the Ice Bowl this year. It was 11'F at Valley with a light breeze making it Cold Cold Cold!!! But the sun was out and it was a beautiful winter day for some DG. 6" of snow at Valley and 12"+ at Creekside made the disc Hunting a lot of Fun. Did not get to play but I got to help with some of the searching. Also got to watch Dave Roper get an Ace on hole 5 at Creekside, winning $55. Brock and Greg tied at -17 after 38 holes, with Brock winning in sudden death. J ... more

Jory shot -11 to take Advanced, JP shot -2 winning Intermediate, and Sandy took Women's. 33 cold disc disc golfers played with several coming out in the afternoon at Creekside to donate to event and play. We raised $803.00 and a Big pile of Food for our charity. I think we are doing the Utah Food Bank and the Road Home this year. Have 2013 Team Utah tags, 50 this year. Some have signed up already, but will have a Tag round soon to put out more tags. It will be a few days before I get the money to the charity, so if you would like to add to the total let me know.
