Hey all we will have an email out with some of the event specifics tonight. The OB is going to be really simple all "natural" OB. Roads, parking lots, property lines, ponds, and gravel roads into the parks will be OB.

Player's packs can be picked up before your round at Eagles Nest and payouts will be at Eagle's Nest.

****Please note that you must pick up your payout slip after the event. If you go home without making arrangements with the TD and without your slip you agree to forfeit any payout. You do not have to spend it at the event, you can use it any time leading up to the last event in the series, but you MUST pick up the payout slip. Payouts will be ready 15 to 30 minutes after your division is finished.

Please remember that we are limited on parking so please park appropriately, do not leave excessive space between you and the car next to you, and carpool if possible.

Also, remember that this is a tee-timed event, so warming up at the courses may not be possible, both courses have other parks nearby that can be used for warm-ups.

We are looking forward to seeing you all this weekend.

Tee times will be posted either late tonight (Thursday) or tomorrow morning. For the most part, expect them to go in order from the lowest division to the highest, but some smaller divisions may be sprinkled in where it makes sense.

Hey Kristy, I signed up today and didn’t realize I would be on a waitlist due to the number of players not being maxed out. Haven’t been on a waitlist before. Is it due to MA40 being full or… What are the chances I get into this event? I would greatly appreciate any info you could send my way on this, thanks!!!

I have the new permit application submitted with new possible dates. I went in and dropped them off on Thursday. We will call them tomorrow and see if there is an update.

We hope to have this settled by the end of the week, we also do not want anyone to feel like we are holding their entry fee hostage. Anyone that requests a refund will receive it, we are working as quickly as possible but completely understand if anyone wants their refund now.

Everyone has been sent an email regarding this event. Here is a copy, the event has been at the very least postponed for the time being:

Hello, I am reaching out to everyone about the Route 33 Classic. I received a call from the parks department yesterday that they have changed their policies for events this year and they cannot approve Route 33 to take place on April 29th & 30th as this event now falls under a different category.

I am working with them to secure a date later in the year and should have more information within the next few days. Please allow me one week from today to get the new details posted and anyone that cannot make the new event or wants to request a refund will get a full refund minus the fees collected by disc golf scene & Paypal as those fees are sent directly to those companies. If you opt to stay registered for the event, you will not need to do anything.

I sincerely apologize for the complication and this is not the email I ever hoped to send. Please bear with me over the next few days as we hammer this out with the parks department and try to get the event rescheduled.

If for some reason we are unable to reschedule, everyone will get a full refund, minus any fees collected by disc golf scene & Paypal as stated above.

I believe I have made all of the division changes that were requested and anyone whose rating went up. If you made a request and have not been moved, please reach out. I tried to keep track but had more than the usual number of requests via this site, email, texts, and messages so it was a little harder to keep track than it normally is. I appreciate everyone's patience.
