A pizza lunch will be provided for all players and caddies who purchased the lunch. We will have extra for those who wish to pay on the day of. Lunch includes pizza, chips, and a drink.
Snacks and water station will be available at the crossroads of hole 7 and 17 throughout the day.
Bring sunscreen and bug spray—summer sun and forest bugs will be out!
Fun & Prizes
CTPs (Closest to the Pin) – keep an eye for those rainbow pinwheels on the course, and make sure it’s your division before moving the flag. Round 2 only.
Ring of Fire after the 2nd round – everyone is welcome to join in!
Popsicles will be available after round 2.
Every participant will receive an award and a bonus item as a thank-you for being part of this special day. Understand that you might have a ferry to catch, but please stick around and cheer on ALL the kids.
Learning. Junior tournaments are all about learning the rules while having fun! Players are encouraged to:
Use a mini marker disc to mark their lie
Count all throws
Take turns and wait until it’s their turn to throw
Respect other players by staying quiet during throws
Scoring
Scoring will be handled digitally through PDGA Live Scoring – pdga.com/score – access code = ACES
Each player or their caddy/adult is required to keep score.
Players should confirm scores at the end of the round before submitting.
Caddies are allowed and encouraged! Just remember:
Please help with discs, encouragement, and rules—but let the juniors play their game!
Other family members are welcome to follow along and watch.
We hope to have a few spotters on the course to help. It is always helpful to send a caddy ahead to spot. The ferns at Fairgrounds have a way of eating discs.
