Hey Everyone,
Thank you for registering for the Richmond Hill Rumble. Below is the players meeting with all of the information you need for the event.
Check In- 8-8:30 under the pavilion. Pick up your players’ packs. Starting holes will be posted on
https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/76767 .
Round 1- First round shotgun start at 9am.
Scoring- Live scoring at pdga.com/score password: RHRumble24 If you are the first on your card please take a paper scorecard as a backup. Second and third on the card will need to keep the live score.
Lunch and Round 2 Start- The second round will start one hour after the last card is turned in from round one. Starting holes for round 2 will be posted on
https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/76767
Payouts- Payout will be onsite through AVL Disc Golf. AVL Disc Golf accepts PayPal and Venmo but it can be tough to get service at Richmond Hill so cash is preferred for any purchases.
Out of Bounds and Other Things to Note- OB is pretty simple. The parking lot/road and beyond and pavilion area are the only out of bounds areas on the course.
There are no mandos in play this weekend.
There may be vehicles lining the edge of the parking lot. If your disc is near, under, or behind a vehicle you may take relief in any direction up to 2 meters from the vehicle even if this puts you closer to the basket. This should only come into play on hole 16.
There are a few holes on the course that are blind tee shots and it is recommended that you use a spotter on these holes. Especially holes 6 and 7 where roll aways into the brush are common. We all hate to lose a disc but there is limited daylight and we don’t want to create back ups so please remember rule 805.03 lost disc: A disc is declared lost if the player cannot locate it within three minutes after having arrived at the area where it is thought to be. Any player in the group or an Official may begin the timing of the three minutes, and must inform the group that the timing has begun.
All players in the group must assist in searching for the disc. Failure to do so is a courtesy violation.
A player whose disc has been declared lost receives one penalty throw. The next throw is made from the previous lie.
The bathrooms aren’t usually unlocked until around 9 am so plan accordingly.
Play well and have a good time out there.
Thanks,
Will
